  1. I think as a groundy dragging branches and chipping raking etc should be £60 full time employment, then and experienced groundy all of the above but hedgcutting, lowering, standard driving licence and ariel rescue £70 then second climber and all of the above £80 or £85 with a towing licence
  2. Our loler inspector has said that the cords need to be identified so all we do is have the date when first use on the paperwork along with all other serial numbers of your other climbing kit, then I mark mine with let's say lm1014 (my initials and month and year) it's only so it can be identified easily then in how many times you change say 5 months on I would mark it with lm0315.
  3. If they are the same tanks as the Jensen the 25 litre oil drum lids fit.

An oak I stripped so could fell the the stem into a 10-15ft gap to avoid hitting other trees.
  11. Again
  12. Another
  13. Excellent show again, just a tad muddy on the sat.
  14. Yeah it works well sometimes you have to dress the knot but the friction cord might be an inch or so too long, it's cheap as well about £1.50 a meter
  15. As per title what are you using? I'm using hitch climber, vt knot with Sirius friction cord, is there a better friction cord that work better with blue tongue
  16. I use sirus 8mm cord at 52" for vt knot on blue tongue I would use the same length if you use a distil knot on your 12.5mm rope
  17. New photo
  18. I'm using the petzl vertex, I tried the stein for a week or so and found the ear defenders didn't sit flat so didn't really block out much noise (msa sordin ear defenders), it sits on your head better than the petzl but I found it felt much heavier and a bit itchy and sometimes pulled on your hair a bit, hope this helps
  19. After reading some thoughts I thought I'd buy one and at £3.50 it isn't a bank breaker if it don't work, here's some pictures what do you think so far going to test it out tomorrow.
  20. Petzl ok with mine, this has a gold gate so matches with the zigzag too
  21. Does anyone no if you can find out if they post parcels
  22. Oh...
  23. Cool so did it speed up the climbing? As sometimes you have to dress the knot? Did you have to dress it? Are you not using it anymore? What size bead etc? Cheers luke
  24. Has anyone tried a scuba diving clip this could work quite well at keeping the lanyard tidy? It's plastic but at £3 a pop...
  25. Sounds like we're getting a positive response:biggrin:
