  1. idealy around £100 which wouldnt come near to buying even a knacked stihl etc, not expecting it to match the big boys just looking for something for the odd wee job at weekends etc might look at that ama wonder if theres anyone just a few quid cheaper?
  2. cheepo top handle saw is it worth a shot untill i can afford something better? my thinking is it wont be brilliant but somethings better than nothing, not always handy swinging the 346 up a tree, anyone used one? heard anything? new petrol chainsaw 12" blade | eBay
  3. one of our guys brought one in one day to sharpen for a neighbour of his, gave it a shot, vibration!! christ! only thing ive used worse is an angle grinder wire brush!

  14. when i was 19/20 with a provisional i had a 110 it cost me £380 for the year was gonna add an L200 was only gonna be £60 extra now im 26 full licence with a wee citroen c15d and thats £1400 for the year!! and ive had no claims convictions etc!
  15. someone said before your better mounting the chipper on the landy and towing a trailer for chip cos you can tow more than you can carry

  17. you will tend to find unless you cannot physically cannot carry more than your limit overloading is always going to happen cos on the job you just keep stuffing it in thats part of the reason we went to a smaller box with the old one you could probably get 3.5t in the back of the transit and even with a 7.5t if the space is there...
  18. have heard conflicting advice about tung quite a few people say no for food use, i use butchers block oil meself

  20. one of our tree officers showed me a pic of this on his phone but i didnt know where it was but i came across it myself today when i was out walking never seen it like this before, its got a trunk!!
