  1. Was kind of hoping for a recomendation Guess i didnt cover all the wise remarks!
  2. Went to get myself some new boots tonight but it was shut! Anyone know of anywhere around Aylesbury or Oxford that will be open in the morning, i'm over that way tomorrow. Chainsaw boots not wellies, before the clever remaks come
  3. Well Done Aiden Decide what you think you're worth first of all, you also have to take into account your expenses, fuel, wear on kit etc, if you're using machinery cost that on top! Remember though that you're doing you're first tree for yourself and that is priceless, you'll never forget this one mate! But most importantly, everything you do from now on is advertising your work, you're only as good as your last job mate! All the best, keep us informed
  4. Me too, sorry, school boy error
  5. Thanks guys Reckon it will be trust, emailed them but need to ring really! Handy to know they do vehicles too, NFU gave a good quote on the tractor, very poor on the land rover so it'll be interesting to see how Trust do! Mike

It was a wellingtonia, looks impressive but only 90 or so ft! It was all arse and funnily enough in an all girls private school:biggrin: They was on half term at the time though:sneaky2: Took a day to prep it, reckon we took at least 2 ft off the flair, spiked up to put a pulling rope in her, just to make sure, and had a turfor off another welly. Gob and back cut took half a day, she finally went with a few cranks on the winch and come down with a hell of a crash! Took best part of a week to ring up and clear! Once in a career Tree:thumbup:
  16. Checked and confirmed with James, we can both do monday, like i said, i usually give j 70 but if we're agreed on 180 then i dont mind splitting the difference, if you pay him 50. What time on site and where?

    Cheers

    Mike

  17. It was a welly, big arse on it, approx 14ft across, took 2 ft of flair off all round, gob in and down! Sounds good but it was just fat! Only 90ft... took a week to ring up though!
