    Poles

Anyone used them stein pole sets or the jameson ones? Im thinking about getting some but not sure on what ones to get. Im after the big shot, does it only fit on the jameson poles? Thanks for the info Brad
  12. Stein plasma over petzel vertex for me. More comfortable and seems to keep you abit cooler, because the petzel has that foam type liner (not nice) imo. As for ground use, while im at work after coming down from the tree i use my stein plasma and would reach for that over the petzel climbing lid or the husky groundie lid everytime. (but theres a fair few new ones out/coming out so...)
  13. Ye if I do get one it would have to be the swivel one. I saw one on a length of OP and was thinking of using it on a thin diameter line myself, maybe not the OP as it's like £3-4 a meter. Was going to go for somthing like that LSK static line I think it's called, has anyone done something similar? See any problems with this idea? Thanks for comments so far people
  14. Was thinks about getting one of these but thought id get some veiws on it first, is it worth the £80? Just wondered if any uses one and what you think of them? Also what size rope works best? Cheers
  15. Hitch climber pulley and two dmm krabs in black and green, a set of alu/Velcro spikes all from treeworker Sherlltree xl delux rope bag from honey brothers. And also a burger was alot more that I wanted to buy but I ran out of cash and if I had got the plastic out I would of got carried away lol.
  16. Me and my girlfriend were having a discussion about work and male/female roles and it got me thinking, how many female working tree climber/tree surgeons are there? do you know of many? Thanks
  17. It seems pretty good, not going to see the end of it though as my other half is watching the only way is Essex... What do you rekon?
  18. I'm only guessing as I was too wondering what it meant, but I'm gunna go with, Pain In The...I'm sure u can guess the A.
  19. Hi Tom What's the possabilty of a stand in climber/groundie?, I ask because I'm looking for weekend work, as I already have a full time job doing railway clearance work. You are based right on my door step, so if you required some options incase you needed an extra hand on jobs or wanted people for weekend work, I'm close by. Just thought I'd see what your views were befor I send in a cv (possibly resulting in a waste of your time) Thanks Bradley Scott
  20. Alright mate cheers, il have a look, or call them.
  21. Ye maybe, where'd you get yours? An all black one is different.
  22. I dnt think they are but they can be used in rigging apparently, so to be on the safe side if you had one that was different colour to the others that u used as a rigging pulley, then you would be sure not to use that as part of your climbing system.
  23. Lol nah it's just that it would be easier to know which is which in a van where a few people have kits and access too them, you can keep this apart as best you can but there will be a time where things cud get confused. also would be good to tell the difference if you were to use one as part of a rigging system, wudnt want to climb on one that may have been shock loaded.
  24. Maybe bit of a silly question, but does anyone know where you can get other colour hitch climber pulleys? Iv seen many different colour combo's but can't find anywhere that sells them? The standard ones I know of are silver with orange, red with yellow. I know sherilltree do a gold one. But are there any others that are sold? Iv seen an orange and black one and a green and black one but finding somewhere to buy them is abit harder. Thanks people.
  25. I can do that... Jokes I can just about do a wheelie lol. That was truly amazing. It's like the bike is just another part of his body, he maintains complete control and makes it all look so easy. Outstanding
