  1. Needs must J haha us poor logmen/women got to make do somehow when job needs doing haha.Whole lotta brawn and bit of brains go a long way
  2. I just started using the pallet and sheep wire method.Works blinking fantastic! As mentioned it's a pain in the butt to empty into trailer or truckbed. I stabled mine round bottom, stable as a rock.usually tip them over by hand in back of pickup.I use a block and tackle and Scafold frame and strops to lift them up.Need a tractor with forks before my backs screwed completly
  3. when nailing a shed together and wallop yourself in the nose with the hammer when you swing it haha.( maybe time for my glasses to be checked again) haha
  4. no problemo catweazle. Sadly hurt my back myself recently.had a full trailor load of sleepers to move round the land.twisted slightly and fely a tremendous nip down left side of lower back then it felt like warm tea had been poured down my spine
  5. Try icing the painful area twice day bud ten mins a pop. Is it in the bony part of elbow or more of a muscle/tendon kind of pain. I had a simar problem,I combatted that by resting the sore arm for good week, then Got a tenni. Elbow support that straps round upper forearm. It helped so much I now use it when I know I've got alot of strenuous forearm work on. There relativly inexpensive I paid a fiver for mine. When it heals I'd suggest trying to improve on yor grip strength.Squishing a tennis ball for 20 plus reps 3 times a week should help develop up the forearm and finger muscles and tendons. Also try hand grippers. Most sports stores will stock these in. Usually this kind of injury is down to either overuse or a muscular imbalance between forearm strength and the biceps I found
  6. Hi Chris just a matter of waiting to hear back regarding the t.p.o's laying new fncing round land and quite a few trees have started pushing my fence over and developing bad leans so hopefully they will grant me permission to clear. Stuffs all over 20year old at Rough estimate. I'll drop ya a Txt when figure price out. Ben
  7. Dave you hit it on the head there bud
  8. wide grip is best way to shoulder tears and injuries.also puts alot of undue stress on pec attachments.Best way for pes activation is the high and full chest method you can do them without weight and literally feel the pecs swell and stretch. I built my 59inch chest with good heavy flat benching and incline benches. Even try slightly closer grip than shoulders.it does hit triceps harder but I really feel it in the inner most portion of pecs. Hardest part of bnching when tall is trying to keep front felts and triceps out the movement, this will build big pecs but is poor for strength gain. Really nail the bent over barbell rows and one arm dumbell rows too bud a strong thick upper back can dramaticlly bump up your bench. Keep me posted dude be good to see you progress. and no worrys Stephen anytime bud hope my friend request was accepted correctly(good at heavy weights but rubbish with technogy haha) who woulda guessed
  9. Our friends dad builds the stobart rally focus's and fiestas.I thought was doing well with my 160bhp mk 1 fiesta when I had it haha
  10. Wow for such little amount training your a beast man, keep at it you obviously have a natural ability. It's so hard in this industry to find times for meals,I would go get the most protein laden weight gain shake you can find bud and mix that up and take a flask of it out everywhere with you and chug it throught the day. I also highly recomend gasparis size on.it's a creatine formula, really aids recovery which in this game is what we suffer from most lack of recovery. Benching at over six foot tall is a bugger,I'd focus on the rep scheme I layer out and the supplimental exercises for triceps and use same rep scheme. Stick to that and blast it for 6 weeks then take two weeks completly off and eat anything that isn't nailed down, then go right back to it. Nutritional tip for you try and take it at least 2grM of protein per pound of bodyweight, and at least 2.5 grams of carbs. Quick choices are tinned tuna eat it on the go,flapjack bars. Also try oatmal and egg White pancakes and fry them up n pan using olive oil. I use a scoop of oats, with 6 egg whites. Absolutly cover them in natural honey,it's the breakfast of champions dude and pop them n Tupperware box and take them out with you as thete great cold too
  11. I considered building a tracked conversion for my mates old scoob. Goes well sideways but far from impressed with his rally times.Should stickto his drifting. Give him and old hi lux to go sideways in haha I would love to see that
  12. Great point ian dude.could be bone spur or loose cartlidge in there.Skipped my mind due to a monster induced high haha if you wish to help I'd be honoured, didn't expect so many people in need haha.
  13. Got enough scaffolding to make a tent barn thing, however not sure what to use for roof and sides of structure.any ideas to help please guys? My old tin sheds just ain't cutting it anymore, plus the paints flaking and I'm bricking them it's lead based paint
  14. Yo combined tree services.good numbers so far. Little background info please, how tall are you and bodytype eg muscular, skinny, lanky or stumpy limbs? General advice for now tho.keep to the 5x5 but have set 4 and 5 as a heavy double or once every two weeks a really heavy single rep. Form tip:s,drive legs into floor keeping butt on bench arch your back fill your chest up with air creating a barrel chest and stomach shape, draw shoulders back firmly contracting the lats, push upper back firmly into bench.Keep elbows slightly tucked and use lats as elastic bands(or try I try imagine they are) keep elbows completly in line with wrists dot let them roll back, have arms shoulder width apart and squeeze that bar for all it's worth. Break and begin the descent of rep via the shoulders and chest then elbows unlock just as bar touches upper stomach/nipple line.Exhale as force legs into floor, push back against bench hard and focus on using body as whole. Focus on heavy floor presses, weighted dips and heavy close grip benches to get more tricep power. Anymore help just ask
  15. YouTube "rotator cuff exercises" dude,if I was available in person I'd show you some however sadly I can't that'd be next best thing keep the Weight very light on these they are not a shoulder building exercise. Also ice the area 10mins a tim rotate Round the most painful areas 3times.Same advice for the knees just before you go to bed.Try elvating feet on pillow before bed for 20mins.Stretching yor hamstrings and quads can really helpl aswell, when the muscles get tight causes Improper tracking of patella tendon. Pick up some glucosamine sulphate if havnt already dude see how that goes
  16. Where bouts in Cumbria bud.sadly all mines processed at moment but may be clearing some oak beech and ash off my land shortly
  17. Aye was split and been sat for at least 12month. Bit of a strange robbery to be honest.the gates were not disturbed no vehicle marks either.I had it stacked in pallets wrapped with sheep wire nearly lost a full one of those.took some oak logs yet to be processed and about 20wraps of kindling. God knows how they got it out:S thinking maybe walked over next doors fence and thru my land. Combined with the complete stop in sales recently,I may be forced to throw in towel. I'm just glad my tractors my equipment all stored at home.only thing up our lands an old baulk of wood an axe and some wedges.
  18. Went up my land today to carry on making new shed, half my woods gone and barn door ripped off! Looks like I'll be camping on my land with my shotgun till the little idiots return.Reported to the police, however not like they are much help. They were as bad when I had over 2000 worn tires dumped. Going to have to buy in some seasoned wood to stock back up seems no matter how hard I try to make my compound secure they ways find a way in.
  19. Helps promote a good nights sleep aswell. And is essential when combined with zinc for testosterone production.Could also help with cramps.
  20. make homemade weight gain shake dude.whole milk table spoon of honey some vanilla ice cream scoop of oats and blend.sup one those anytime can't fit a meal in. And If you want a burger go for it.use wholemeal bread, releases energy slower and the fat will do your hormone levels wonders. Before bed try cottage cheese on wholemeal bread. Peanut butter is also fantastic slow release energy. Full good fats and also protein.
  21. I swear by it.I had a minor pec tear should have taken 6months at least usd serrapeptase religiously throuought rehab. I was back benching 190kg 2mnths back in.Full recovery with minimal scar tissue present
  22. Neck problem try above advice for Steve.any particular location on neck? Is it muscular or joint type pain
  23. Haha I hear you there man. Has the bicep any loss of strength? Or any change in shape? If not then least we can rule out a tear. Try icing the area that's most painful on bicep work up to three times a day ten mins a pop. Also dig your index finger into the bicep and feel if there are any trigger points that create a sharp pain.If you find any hold it with pressure of the index on the sore point and hold it for sixty seconds a time do that twice for each pressure point.
  24. Still need help dude? Heavy tricep assistance work is the key. Floor presses close grip bench press and Tate presses(YouTube them if want a tuition) rep range stick to no more than five. Try four sets at light weight warm up 15plus reps set one,aim for five reps set two go for a challenging 3-4 set three aim for three reps set four aim for a very slow and heavy double. Also heavy bent over barbell work and bent over lateral raiser for your rear delts really help stabilize your torso and act as rubber bands to fire when you go to press.
