  1. I use Voldermorts magic wand on mine, the light sabre works if that fails:thumbup:
  2. Especially when it runs at 17,000rpm:blushing:
  3. I'm a big Husqvarna fan but the MS200 is the better saw, better engineered and has more go in it - the Husky isn't as good and that is reflected in both saws re-sale price!
  4. No worries, PM me when you need my help or use the Spud phone - like Batmans one but bright Husqvarna Orange:lol: I know the 346XP inside out, I ported mine and did a fair bit of work on it and am sure Stubby will be on here soon waxing lyrically about his Spud tuned one.....cheers Andy. I am sure I can get it back to being the beast it is:biggrin:
  5. Forget what you know about fourstrokes with cast iron cylinnder liners and oversize pistons. If you have a 44mm piston in your saw, then you will need a new 44mm piston to replace it, personally I stay clear of Chinese unbranded with their brittle rings, better to fit a Meteor one - very good quality. If the saw has been seized, all that transfered aluminium will need to be taken off the bore and it needs to be 100% smooth - if left on, your saw will run for around 30 seconds!
  6. Bugger - thats how I do it, quick, easy and works:thumbup: Thats another secret gone:lol:

  14. Been called worse in the past but they will never find the bodies:lol: Think Martin believed me - he did drop off a nice lump of cake in payment though - the wife approved but not sure it is a good business strategy:lol:

  17. Sounds like it isn't holding the throttle open on the fast idle start position - try starting it on choke, once it parps, take the choke off but manually hold the throttle open and yank the starter with your left hand - if it goes it may be that. Have done the MS460 now, pressure and vac tested fine, lots of compression and tached it - ready to go. Also been working on an 084 that isn't starting when warm and farts and pops when milling - found the rubber mushroom breather was missing and also the plug clip in the spark plug cap wasnt making contact with the inner HT wire. Cleaned the carb and readjusted the metering arm - now fine and gave it a damn good run up tonight - all seems OK but needs a bit of large wood to try it out!
