  4. I think when quoting for tree work, don't think about the money you make on logs, just price it as if you just tip the logs on a tip site, and if you do do logs then bonus! It would keep the price of this industry up!!

  10. I agree with what your saying, I suppose it all depends on your own circumstances, but I always put a good price on big jobs, as you can soon be up **** creek with a big job! But if the bigger boys want to go do the job for cost to keep there lads busy then let them as far as I'm concerned!! I'd rather do 3 little jobs for same price!!

  13. Lads trying to get work and get on as far as I'm concerned! Like I said if it states they have an agent (tree surgeon) I don't send the letter
  14. A lot if tree lads do this "tactics" my ex employer did it and I do it
  15. I do this, I send a letter to the applications that haven't used an agent e.g the householder has done the application!

  22. Yeah it was.... The customer kept it
  23. Prob could of but we managed to get the track chipper at the bottom of the slope and there was two of them on the ground, It worked fairly well
  24. Was there but it was a different part of the job!
  25. Yeah it was a horrible slope! (Glad I wasn't dragging) no it's me up tree!! Nicks out of the tree game now!!
