  1. We used to have an landy horn for the bass and an old Iveco ambulance horn for the screech. It was great fun until the garage only wired up half the ambulance horn. It like a gnat queefing in a cave after that. It was more then embaressing:blushing:
  2. We have two landy horns wired into the same system. It used to be an "Oh you naughty boy" horn. Now its a "turn your head" or " Good morning" horn if someone pulls out in front of us.
  3. Two of the three shoots i beat and shoot have been cracking all season. The commercial shoot we have had two teams of lets just say interesting teams (Grouse syndicate teams and you will get the idea). The other farm shoot i beat on started well but soon fell apart when the sabs went through and soaked all the feeders in deisel and have been trashing covercrops. The birds just arent there anymore. We used to shoot 80 bird days easily. We are lucky if we shoot 30 now. It also doesnt help when the local traveller fraternity are poaching on the land too. The syndicate at the commercial shoot have been shooting 250 + bags each day they have been shooting. They have shot their overage and then some.
  4. I had Jez Cock for my CS30 assessment. Very nice bloke. Great to chat to and laid back. I had Chris Sadd train me for my CS30.
  5. Glad i won the Stihl action base layer. Will be buying tickets for next year thats for sure.
  6. Stuff the glass. Wheres the bottle? Well done steve cracking night.
  7. Been eyeing it up in the Stihl catalogue at work too. Would be ideal for the monument management work. Got 12 weeks worth to do in man days with 4 other colleagues. May break out my senior colleagues nemesis tool for that.
  8. Was a cracking night despite the technological hiccup at this end. Dan Curtis helped out a massive amount for people who couldnt get into the chat room though
  9. Are all the prize and ticket numbers going to be posted before the system crashed? Cheers dan. Very much appreciated. Won myself a Stihl Action base layer. May have won something else but will have to wait and see.
  10. That would be mine Large please Steve:thumbup:
  11. Thank you very muchly:thumbup: Damn computer wont let me in
  12. Done with no luck. Cache is browsing history isnt it?
  13. Are you getting a message up about a broken script?
  14. Can get in chat room but all i get is "A script that is currently running is not compatible/or will make this programme unresponsive and eventually freeze. Would you like to close this script?" I clicked no but nothing was coming up at all
  15. Same here. Its keeps coming up with script not compatible and that comes up about 60 times across the screen.
  16. It just crashed at my end saying a script wont run i can type but cant send. Cant even type now. is anyone else having this problem?
  17. I did but it didnt have the rolled up edges like quercina. I think that is just a smooth piece of bark. It is a massive sunseeking limb which gets hit a fair bit by southwesterlys. I'll let my colleagues know that it possibly has dysfunction due to the fungus. If/when it falls it will miss the car park but would rather have it out before it snaps out.
  18. *Stereum complicatum. Rogers mushrooms says it grows on dead sticks and stumps mainly ok but the limb is still very much alive.
  19. Some of todays finds 1-6 - Kretzchmaria deutsa infected Field Maple. 7-8 - ?Hypochnicium vellerum? growing on a Beech stick 9 - 12 - Ramaria sp growing around base of Beech 13-14 - Vuilleminia comedens 15-25 - Unknown brackets growing on very long sun seeking English Oak limb.
