  4. Hate em. They've torched a few friends barns and a good friends thatched cottage. They also harm farm livestock (wire aspect of it), can set fire to heathland, and the bane of the lives for any farmer when it comes to harvesting the crops as the paper and wood degrades and the wire wraps around the thresher heads.

  12. New fungi book is on the way:thumbup:
  13. Olympus FE-280
  14. Hows this for some fungal action. The stump has had King Alfreds Cake growing on it over the past few years. We cut the stumps lower so we could tree any regen.
  15. Cheers Hama. At the moment i am using my mums camera (Olympus FE-280). Most of the close up shots are taken on supermacro. And it takes me sometimes 10 attempts for the focus to sort itself out. We have a big fungi book in our office. I shall get the ISBN code and order one off the A'zon to keep for my own personal use.
  16. Thank you. I shall get more pics up. There isn't any ID on here yet but hopefully Hama, Monkey D or Gerrit will sift through and help me out.
  17. Got the Two Tunnels project guys from near Bath coming down to have a look at our 6 mile stretch of trailway. And give us tips on ways we can improve it. We made a start today mowing and strimming the edges. Got soaked at lunch as coat was in the van about 250 metres away. Was very nettly but not much hogweed. Had to avoid Jap Knotweed patches but will be blasting them some time this week.
  18. Not a very clear shot but a juv Dunnock.
  19. Taken 20/6/2011 Some cracking shots in this selection. Even a sapro army feasting on an Ash stump.
  20. There are loads of them in the wood. All of varying sizes. When i am in there next i shall get a pic of one with massive elephant ears.
  21. Brilliant movie on tonight Starts at 10. Main reason for watching it is Olga Kurylenko:thumbup:
  22. This is him playing with his tennis ball. We are slowly getting there training wise. Starting simple by just throw and retreive. Will get into more technical stuff when 6 months plus.
  23. I think this is a suitable place to put these pics. Taken this afternoon in a local FC woodland. It was thinned by 50% last winter. Lots of squirrel damaged stuff taken out.
  24. With our younger two we originally went to have a "look at one" 3 hours later we come out with 2 10 week spaniels. My mum has a habit of just going in to have a "look". A few years ago we went into a local BMW dealer to have a "look" we came out with a 330Ci M sport. We then went to "look" at a new table. Two weeks later got a new handmade Oak table. Was a very expensive month.
  25. Second night was much much better. We put him in a medium cage in the same room as the boys but left the gate open for him so he could go out as he pleases. He squinnied for about 15 mins then realised the gate was open and curled up with the boys. Not a squeak after then, no mess either.
