  4. Hi all, I recently bought a g reg Landy 110 tipper that needs a new chassis, been looking on the Richard chassis website and was wondering weather I could replace with a 130 chassis and what I would need to do to make it legit, Anyone else done something similar?

  12. There is now a new saw strop loop for it, with extended pins to stop it poping out
  13. Yh we had 2 of the 261's needing cranks, we put them on the shelf along with 3 x 362s and replaced with A fleet of 560xp's. Only issues we had at first was brake bands and clutch springs, which were re designed. Not bad out of 9 saws.
  14. 261 is too bulky and they stihl havnt sorted the needle bearing issue after how many years.
  15. You have either melted the needle bearing or done a clutch spring, common problem, bearing needs weekly greasing
  16. I have a 346xp to but I tend to always pick up the 560xp.
  17. We had a fleet of 560's were I used to work. And my one was hammered in thinning works for 2 years, few tinkering problems, mainly clutch springs and brake bands but they have since sorted it out. I have since bought my own 560xp.
  18. Thanks for that, I have the silver side 346xp. The oil feed and delivery pipe is in 2 peices on this model? Is this what you meen, it was fine for around 3-4 years then would leave a puddle of oil on my work bench over a few days. Doesn't get used much now as I have a 560xp but would like to get it right, I will picture the pipe I have?
  19. Jensen are reliable solid machines, can't go wrong with a a540.
  20. My 346 with an oil leek, I think it was coming from the where the delivery pipe joins the oil pump, I out a little bit of non hardening gasket around the pump, hopfully will do the trick
  21. The forst st 8 is a stonking machine. Very hungry Firm I used to work for have two tr8's . Found this on YouTube
