    Husky 550 XP

Who has got them in stock?
  3. Thanks everyone for the comments, now i think im going to buy one! I cant say no with that feedback!
  4. How are people finding the husqvarna 560xp? Alot of negative stuff on here when they came out, are they still giving trouble? buy or not to buy whats your opinion?
  5. Had a 300 for the past 2 years, excellent machine. Worth the extra money, built to last. You only have to look at the weight of other machines to see how little metal is in them. TCT blades are great, no chain oil, that must cost a fortune on a chainsaw model. And much quicker. On a processing job i did there was some rough wood, barbed wire and nails in it, only found out once it was cut! Still cut fine after that. Wilsons often have used models in stock.
  6. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAEE03M3QLk&feature=related]Drti? v?tví - Zetor 25A - 2.?ást - YouTube[/ame] Just watch it devour that timber haha
  7. As long as it is under 2.45 metres wide and not a turntable tpye trailer then you are allowed to drive it at 16. As long as it is classed as agri vehicle you can drive it, 50k and fastracs come under the same rules. I now have a full licence but for the past two years i have been driving tractors on the road, never been stopped or questioned on weights etc.
  8. Always sell by the cube, most people understand eventually!
  9. If you put the small notch in the small slot then they never come undone, much quicker than husky screw caps:001_cool:
  10. Stay clear of it! It was only last week i found a JCB 22ton 360 fitted with a Logset head advertised on ebay for £2700. Far less than scrap value! It was the same seller, they also had about 10 other diggers/dumpers many of them had the same buy it now price with the same story "i cant access ebay etc" There were machines on there worth £15,000 buy it now: £3000 All the items were removed within a few days and now this Dalen is their new item. No location and all items only have 1 image. Looks too good to be true:001_huh:
  11. Oak will only sit and smoulder if its not dry enough. It needs to be split ASAP after felling and left to dry all summer in vented bags or crates, easily dries down to 20% MC. Never dries if left in the log. It does need to be split fairly small though to dry it sufficently, 12 inch diameter is no good just splitting 4 way needs to be 6 otherwise it just does not dry all the way through. When dry it does burn very hot:thumbup:
  12. put it in big bags and and sell it to farmers and horse owners, people always want it!
  13. Nothing wrong with sitka, not sure why everyone raves about larch, not really much difference. Sitka keeps me warm and cooks my dinner so im not complaining:biggrin:
  14. Im nothing to do with them, try and run our own business! i just thought it was an insight in to how they do it
  15. Hi there, sure is a handy bit of kit. It is a 154C, 55hp, made by landini with massey badge and sprayed red. There are not many of the massey ones about, most are snapped up by collectors. Most were sold by Landini in there own blue colour scheme, lots of blue ones on the net in italy, france etc. It does have 3 point linkage and PTO.
  16. Firewood, kindling, log stores, Heat logs, firelighters and wood pellets - Certainly Wood
  17. havent got any pics of the wet patch, will take a few. very manouverible and compact machine
  18. Get a 3 ton digger with a rake on it, blitzes it! and you get the roots out, much quicker equivalent to 3 men and chainsaws. We have been doing some and it does a great job.
  19. The same is going great! we have got another toy now, a massey crawler 55hp goes in anywhere and dont sink in the wet patches. Been extracting some alder with it this week and its great, drove the 3 ton digger we were using to clear some rhodedendron through the same patch and nearly got stuck! We skidded out 70 ton and no ruts!
  20. Hello pembswood recycling welcome where abouts in pembrokeshire are you based?
  21. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdYbBP4BPEQ&feature=related]Miniskotare Malwa 460 - gallring i bokskog - YouTube[/ame] Looks a good tool:thumbup:
  22. We stick it in builders bags and sell it to the farm next door and horsey folk. There is always demand for it in our area. Your best bet is find a dairy farm near you,:thumbup:they use it in cubicles.
  23. Your best option is to store in crates as you said, and get yourself a potato box tipper to go on your tractor/loader. Tip tehm into your truk for delivery, You can deliver loose then no need to cart the crates round the county!
  24. i havent used one but great power to weight ratio:biggrin: The stihl ms362 is less power and more weight! The new stihls just seem to get heavier:sneaky2:
  25. Haix protector pros are good boots:biggrin:
