  1. Yea it's all been done by a HETAS qualified installer. There is a cowel on the top but no sparks coming out though the breast is still very hot and woodburner is cold now. No smoke back into the room and not been burning wet wood apart from the odd bit of week old split ash! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. On the plate is says Chimney liner - 6" 904 Not 100% what that means? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. It's been lit quite a few times since then but just of an evening. Not for a whole day like today. Can't see any smoke coming out the chimney or a glow outside. Fire is dead now so I will see if the breast cools down, if not is it best to ring or am I panicking for no reason!? Don't want to waste anyone's time! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  7. Not what you were thinking 😉 Just wondering if you guys can put me at ease! Had the wood burner on for about 9hours today. First long stint since moving here. The previous people had a woodburner installed and all signed off this time last year. Just noticed upstairs in the bedroom the chimney breast is very hot on the two sides I can touch. Warm on the downstairs chimney breast but upstairs I can hardly keep my hand on it. Not knowing a lot about woodburners Is this normal? Cheers guys Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
