This is the point I was trying to make. We've taken on various staff over the years and they all have the same problem that they haven't been taught the basics of sharpening. Is this the fault of the tutors or the NPTC standards? Yes we all had to start somewhere and we all learn over time but shouldn't the standards being taught be of concern? It was on one of our sites that the chap was killed , we'd stripped out all the crowns on an isolation as it was near overhead lines so they could be felled at a later time . We are still waiting to find out what exactly happened Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
