  5. Most, NOT all dealers will sell to anyone, as they know the punter will go else where and they will have lost a sale. Not many dealers police it

  10. We have 32 Stihl, 1 Husqy and Im meeting the Makita rep tomorrow, so no loyalty here either. Our local Stihl dealer is the mutts nuts though! anything you want or could want and if he hasnt got it, it will be there within a couple days! The Stihl rep was in yesterday and there service is seconond to none, but you still need to keep an eye out for other/better products
  11. The A68 is the best road in the UK!!! (apart from Carterbar, where the speed cameras start!!!
  12. Who pays £700 for a MS362? some people should get a better dealer/shop around! Ours just cost £560!!!!! since all our other saws are stihl, we stick with them for spares
  13. I was going to use the bike example! As you have changed the sprocket size, have you now changed the ppe requirement? and you have altered the saw from the manufacturers original spec?
  14. So we have sorted that point out, then why do people insist that the husqy is a better, faster saw because it runs faster?
  15. I was quoted £3,500 rrp, with discount available. It might cost more but the difference is very noticable when chipping, worth the extra cash
  16. However, the new Makita 4stroke's chain runs very slow and cuts exceptionaly well?
  17. The above are the same as the cs100? apart the fitting in the boot, the cs has a trailer if needed and has its own hitch for attaching to a ride on mower, so where are the benefits????

  19. We all know Husq's rev around 1000 rpm faster, so people assume they cut faster? what is the difference in chain rotaion speed? (you know the part that matters most)
