  2. Best tell a very large training organisation this info, they say either dry or WD, on their Loler inspectors courses
  3. I never use any solvent on climbing/rigging kit (yes I know there is a small amount in WD)
  4. If it looks ok, not damage, check sideways movement of the gate, is the spring ok? have you tried hot soapy water and a little light oil? But at the cost you could always bin it?
