  3. Alright david nothing to scientific iam affaid happened last year in heay snows knocked a few decent sized limbs off. Nobody injured thankfully

  7. Alright dave i dont any more out of the barn on to the wagon but then tip them on the customers drive and leave them to it, so its up to them to get them back under cover
  8. if in doubt go a bit smaller but will be good practice for the groundys to learn how to "let it run" good luck mate be good to see some pictures of the job.
  9. forgot to say the shelfs arnt on pins they just wedge in to the ajusters.

  13. Heres a book shelf i got made out of some cedar and cherry that i milled, got a guy to make it for me, he charged me 2 and a half cube of split and seasoned timber BARGIN i think. thats one of my best tree books to start filling it.

  19. A farmer pal of mine measured a dead one at 20 inch nose to tail the other day (nasty)

  21. Yeah i was reading about the rigging awarness course (technical rigging ) that they did down south would be good to get something like that arranged up this way !
  22. My first years membership is coming to a end and i will be renewing i enjoy the magazines the discount on courses and also this year got a invite to take a walk round derby arboretum with the midlands group which although i had never met anyone there was very welcoming and i didnt fell out of place even got asked to the boozer after there were a mix of people there from consultants to tree officers and contractors i would recommend becoming a member if you love trees its just another way to learn more.
