    how do you reckon this will cope with a 36" bar, only going to be using it it for ringing up butts really and the odd big fell, compression is 180 psi on her so all seems good there, thoughts please, currently running 28" with no problems
  6. mower was working fine, went for a cup of tea,started mower back up and it raced its nuts off??, nothing stuck anywhere, govenor spring looked fine, any ideas , cheers

    as above, cant get dads saw to idle, fires on choke, starts on half throttle but wont idle, tried all configurations with the idle screw,no other adjusment screw are fitted:confused1:
  8. thanks mate, the only thing i havent tried is pulling it over with throttle fully open, need to get the misses to hold her flat out for me, that seems to work with blowers etc wen they wont catch, the beer count is getting quite big now , lol, appreiciate all the advice you give, cheers mike

  10. used 268 for about an hour this morning ringing up some ash, got home about 2 hours later and it wouldnt start, got fuel,spark,cleaned the air filter, reset hi/lo, whipped exhaust off, all ok there, help!!!!!!!!!!

  18. posts every 2.4 meters allow £4.00 each,50m of stock wire is near £50 a go now, box of staples is £30.00 so just over £4800 in material, leaves you £2350 for labour, yeah id go £4.50 per metre
  19. its 111 cc i think but not as fast as new saws as already mentioned, should have a decomp and manual oiler too
  20. no worries mate, def think about the chain brake, my brother in law used to use one on the estate many moons ago, pretty much unstoppable even with a 30 inch bar on her
  21. havent done any for a while, but i reckon you should be looking at £4.00 per metre supplied and erected, i was charging £3.00 per metre 7 years ago and got most jobs i quoted
  22. i remember me and my mate ringing up a huge sycamore but , 395 and 371 next to each other, stopped to refill the saws and noticed a very annoyed neihbour having quiet drinks in the garden with some very posh friends...oops
  23. thanks, will be left for the wildlife to live in then, bet the beetles will love it
  24. got to knock them over anyway, so will see what the quality is like when they are on tjhe ground
  25. half the fun of a big husky is the dang, dang, dang noise from exhaust
