  1. Hi people.. focusing on moving to australia. This is going to sound silly but i have a ridiculous fear of spiders..what are the chances of encountering them on the job/up a tree??
  2. Hi all..me and the missus are wanting to move to Canada around October. Is that a good time to get a job there? I am a climber of 7 years. Would be looking to go on the books with a reputable company. Anyone know of any I could try? Anywhere in Canada. Some help would be much appreciated!

  11. I am currently looking for any part time work in edinburgh and surrounding area (fife, borders) I can also do work in Aberdeen and surrounding area at weekends. I can do groundwork, I have my own saw and ppe. I am also a climber with 6 years experience although currently dont have my own kit. Full uk driving licence with B+E. I am availabe any evenings and weekends. Very competent with chainsaw and lowering. Get in touch. Thank youu.

  13. I will mention it if we ever need anyone else. If u ever need an extra hand at weekends or evenings give me a shout, im always looking for extra work in my own time.

  15. yea, im quite surpised how difficult it is to find them. I tried a treemotion a while back..might give it another go just to make sure. A&S Spence 131 Drum Street Gilmerton, they do only do chainsaws, and repairs, hedge cutters, ppe and that sort of thing, not a browsing shop, its all behind the counter. I work for Frontier Forestry, if we ever need an extra hand, i'll keep you in mind.

  17. I want a komet butterfly or dragonfly?..the one with the hard sat bitty..good for my arse and good in cypress hedges..better sitting on that than getting a topped stem up my are. I climbed with one of them for a year or so at my previous company..my current firm have given me some horrible svenk thing (cant remember the name its like 8 years old) what do you recomend? what do you climb on? Im quite partial to the seat lolll

  19. I am based in Edinburgh and I am looking for a good arb supplies shop near edinburgh preferrably or anywhere in scotland or north of england. Need somewhere that has shitloads of harnesses I can try on. Does anyone know of anywhere? I would bemost greatful for any sugestions, thanks.
  20. ah jesus mate..I know exactly what you mean. If you want more money..get offshore and work in oil, they take care of you financially. Transferable skills may lead you to rope access work offshore doing maintenence, etc.

  22. had one of them at a company i worked for a while back..echo is american. didnt get to use it much..sum1 put the fuel in the oil tank and the oil in the fuel tank..buggerd.
