  1. While I was serving in Germany we did a job at a helicopter base and managed to get hold of a refill for a landing zone fire extinguisher, these are huge things that full of water that have a two part activator that mixes when you hit the button. The refill consists of 2 small bags of powder, we decided that this could be put to better effect in the local bier keller, using some squaddie ingenuity we drained the bowl of the toilet of the pub and added one of the chemicals then tipped the second into the cistern, then retired to the bar to watch the merriment. In our drunken state we hadn't factored in the effect of 200 cubic meters of foam erupting from the door with a very shaken German bloke with his trousers round his ankles, didn't see us for dust but we laughed for a long time after that one, still makes me chuckle 20 years later.
  2. try and get hold of some old industrial conveyer belts, these are flexible and not too heavy but ridged enough to do the job, we used them on the prairies in canada when i was out there setting fire to them with tracer rounds. contact demolition firms if you cant get hold of them.
  3. Hilti have got a similar system, when you buy a tool from them it goes on a register, if it gets reported stolen and whoever buys it trys to get it repaired or serviced then hilti call the ob, not foolproof obviously, only works if they take it back to hilti but its a start. they also do a keypad system, you need to key in the code for the tool to work, bit like an immobilser on a car, cant see too much difference with saws, or they do a security card that you swipe the tool to unlock it. im sure these systems could be bypassed eventually but it slows the toe rags down, also the more oppertunist thieves may be put off.
  4. hi, im hopefully starting some work on the rsailways, doing clearance, ive got the tickets now but am in need of some orange hi viz trousers, trouble is ive got a more, shall we say, robust frame! what ones will fit a size 42-44 waist? do they do such a creature? if so how much? i can come and collect from the shop. many thanks for any advice

  5. Chloramphenicol is another good one for arc eye, although be careful because it is an anaesthetic and your eye forgets to blink so the eyeball dries out, stick a pirate patch on to get over this, the relief when you drop this in is almost orgasmic...
  6. i do a lot of work at power stations and have seen this a few times, i was speaking to an old bloke that works for EDF he said he went to a call out once and they found a hacksaw cut through a 132kV cable with a hand still attached, nothing else, once again they didnt find any other remains and nothing was reported to hospitals in the area, also we did a job at a cable bridge in Dartford recentely where the local "travelling folk" had started a fire at the base in order to short the power, little did they know that they are oil filled to keep them cool and it practically blew up! shut the power to most of Dartford for a week, including the Dartford crossing, cost them millions!!!!!
  7. love that wall around the fire, very nice, out of interest what sort of money would that cost? if you dont mind me asking mate.
  8. i have spent a little time in a tattoo shop, as you can see in my photo, and ive gotta say that is some awesome flash art, she is definately a natural, i used to tattoo when i was younger and learnt the technicalities of putting the drawing into the skin rather than on paper but my drawing skills were never as good as i wanted them to be, she has definately got a gift mate, hope she goes far.
  9. i know what you mean but the diamond saws work differentely than a normal saw, the chain is fairly smooth, more like the edge of a diamond cutting disc on a grinder, they wear away the brick rather than cut through it like a conventional chain, if you put it against you it would still leave a nasty scar but no where near as damaging. you need the goggles as you still get sparks and bits flying off but they are a nightmare because of the amount of dirty water flying about due to them being water cooled.
  10. did he do the bit where he mixes dry sugar with water and swallows it thens brings up dry sugar?
  11. i saw him years ago at "The Church" in Kings Cross, awesome act, he also used to swallow cigarette smoke then bring it back up half an hour later during his act, also his build up would be him swallowing 3 live goldfish of different colours then asking at the end of the act which colour we wanted brought back first, then wether we wanted it dead or alive? if the crowd shouted dead he woulkd swallow the pool ball and then bring up the required fish dead, followed by the other 2 live, dont think he will do that bit of the act on telly! although it was fantastic to watch.
