    Cars for anchors

When winching off L/R110 PTO Superwinch, Operated whilst sitting in seat handbrake on, foot on brake, Tied back to a tree or ground anchor via strops right under vehicle to shackles on the winch bumper, don't particularly want to twist or stretch chassis. This way can pull some fair trees or loads

  5. Have you checked fan belt for tightness as some use alternator to sense engine speed. You can bypass stress control by connecting the 2 beside the stress unit. Also swap out the relay besides the stress unit, it's a standard relay. Other than that check all wiring, switches and connectors, that they are doing what they are supposed to do. Switches are, forward/reverse/stop and safety bar.

  12. Snapped release handle on my spiderjack this morning. Does anyone one have a spare release handle complete spiderjack, before I at new ones.
  13. Used one in the past, it was an adapted hand tongs, with one of the pivot rivets removed an replaced with a long bolt. The bolt allowed pivot to move but would let tongs sit on top of some saw poles to let you carry/ balance it to place onto tree. It was a bit rough and ready but worked well on the occasions we used it.
  14. Experience. Not being harsh but I think you need to gain experience working for other companies to see how they work and gain an understanding of how long each aspect of job takes and from that you will be able to work out pricing. Also if you are fresh out of college you will not be up to commercial speed. In reality pricing is a mix of experience and educated guesswork, also depends on your area.
  15. Thanks. I want to keep mine to an overall width of 4ft, same as the alpine so if tractor goes trailer will follow, It will be manual loading as only for my own use. 2t mini digger can do bigger bits.
