I got a disco 4 with the new engine and 8 speed auto box its one of the best motors I've had loads better than the older Land Cruiser don't know about newer ones . As for older Discos (all old cars brake down) they may brake down a bit but there is plenty of Landrover specialists work shops out there who can fix things with no problems with cheep parts.

pay bit more and get yourself and case ih 956 and you never have any problems solid as a rock got one with 12500 hrs on it had loads in the past keep hold of a two wheel drive one gets used most days when the modern tractors a parked up in the winter .

I would say get a TF90 to but you still will need a lot of wood to keep the heat up

If you are spending a lot of money on the property then may be a meeting with a local land agent might be a good idea they should be able to advise you on what the regs are . Could be money well spent .

Cheers for the info ! It will be just a yard tractor mainly . The 956 would be my choice but the TW looks the business . 956 has the big lever for the 4wd I have used it to lead corn with before so know a bit about it .

Hi I the chance of buying a 956 off a local farmer its seems to be a sound tractor also I know of a TW 10 that's will be for sale soon any one got any opinions on which to go for .

The disco 4 goes very well too got a speeding ticket going over the a66 going down towards Brough . If you want a fast 4x4 , Audi Allroad would be the one . Had one before Q7 might go back to one next time

Q7 was a beast they are very big !! The interior was prob better than the Disco but the Disco is a better ride in my opinion . Q7 18-25 mpg Disco 27-32mpg so far but never had it on a long motorway ride yet . Audi dealers need to be a bit better I think .

Just got a Disco 4 its a real nice motor ,Had an Audi Q7and it use to eat tires for fun 10/12 k at best and there not cheep .
