  1. Anyone watch it? Why don't we always play with such passion and will to win?
  2. And I bet now you have beefed up your security as I did, which is why this forum is invaluable to members if they take notice of these type of posts.
  3. No idea what these cable alarms cost but if you have to replace even the cheapest stihl saw maybe £200? then as said it is money well spent
  4. This is what ive always thought about kiln dried logs, unless you are going to store them in a kiln they will absorb the moisture in the atmosphere where they are stored, I have a couple of customers who store their logs outside with no cover as "mine are to dry, and with a bit of rain on them they burn longer"
  5. Should imagine the landy will be found somewhere burnt out, they were probably only after the saws etc.
  6. Fully sympathise with you, ive had breakins with no convictions , and also been done for speeding/using phone while driving, the difference is the police could convict me (cameras) but cant get the scum(no dna/fingerprints etc) If theres none of that AND they use false plates what can the police do?.There was a post on here a while ago, the guy had his chipper nicked and it was spotted on a traveller site not far from him, the police went in and questioned them, the reply was "someone must of dumped it there, but we don't know who".........end of investigation:thumbdown:
  7. With that attitude you can only succeed,
  8. Agree its a crazy language, how can Philip be ph? why dosnt fillet start with ph? and so on
  9. The police are really up against it in trying to catch the scum that nick your kit, where do they start if theres no fingerprint/dna/witnesses,its down to us at the end of the day to make sure they cant take them. I had a load of gear nicked a few years ago, then went out and invested in alarms, beefed up padlocks etc, I should of done it before the breakin.
  10. IHow do you become a mod?, just wondering
  11. Totally agree, you can tell someone to "f" off in 2 completely different ways face to face, but on a forum it comes over in only 1 way.
  12. You spelt manner wrong...................
  13. I think I have began to think like them,i,m always looking out for the give away pick ups, if I have a dodgy van following me and I have saws etc on the back I wont go home, I,ll take a detour until they turn off
  14. Trouble is until you do get your kit nicked you don't realise that these scum exist.
  15. Michael fish, great storm of 87..............enough said
  16. There not weather forecasts now, they are like horoscopes, the forecasts on the bbc,itv,c4,c5,sky are all different. The best forecast is to look out your window in the morning
  17. Who wants a fight,cmon
  18. 4 hic, cans hic of hic K hic cider, bollo....................................................................................................................................................................
  19. Exactly my point:thumbup1:
  20. All depends on your circumstances, if your single ,no kids , go for it you have nothing to lose. married with kids/mortgage, then you have to be sure it,ll work for you
  21. No London pride?
  22. "grahams" 10 year old:thumbup:
  23. These clowns cant predict yesterdays weather, let alone next months, I checked the bbc weather on the net the other morning and it said no rain all week, I was 10 mins into my journey and it was p,ing down
  24. Are they the ones that screw together? if so try any stihl dealer:thumbup1:
  25. Forgot about this, I was born on a farm at the bottom of this, its sharpenhoe clappers and was an iron age fort, now owned by the national trust.
