  4. i liked him too,was not a bad boxer:thumbup1: hes bit of an all rounder i think mark, good boxer, not a bad actor and he was a model.(a bit like me:lol:) story is he made more money from being a model, than he did from boxing i was more into the big punchers in the 80s mark(the heavy weights)when i was 16 in 1986 mike tyson was my main man,he was in his prime. it was very sad the way his life turned out.

  12. and not just for kissing under! the quirky is actually a parasite living off the sap of a host tree.the berries are poisonous to humans and animals but a veritable feast for birds.the apple orchards of herefordshire and worcestershire are among the best places to see mistletoe growing.you can grow you own with a little patience,as it takes up to 6 years-by making a small incision on the bark of a tree(apple, pear, lime, willow, poplar and ash are suitable)and squeezing the seed at the centre of the berry into the gap.for more information see nick wheeldons booklet grow your own mistletoe,£2.85,available at mistle.co.uk 6 yrs i was working down newport [south wales] last week with matt place off here,it was his job and i was helping. we were cutting up a massive wind blown willow,i could not believe the amount of mistletoe on the trees in the garden and the gardens around us,i never see any in my local area!!

  15. BIRD HEROES one of britains smallest birds may be able to save our horse chestnut trees. the leaf minor moth, which arrived in the uk about a decade ago, lays its eggs in the veins of the leaves, which then die off as the caterpillars eat their way out-repeated infestations greatly weaken the tree.but blue tits, coal tits and great tits are enjoying this new source of food and are happy to feast on the larvae. can they reverse the threat? botanists are not sure yet but,as a tit family consumes 75 kilos of insects a year, the prospects look good..........
