  4. its only worth what you want to pay! may be 6 yrs old,but how was it used, you may never know, has it been used on a daily basis or once a month, buying a second hand saw is like buying a second hand car,it may be a car youve always wanted so may pay over the odds for it,do you really want the saw the second hand game there are winners and losers:001_rolleyes: i bought a used 346xp,did not know how old it was,i paid £150,one of the best saws ive ever owned, looked like a dog,cut like a little beast[until it got stolen:thumbdown:] i ve also bought a 254xp [used]never like it,very slugish so had a new piston put in,still dont like it[that saw cost me ]£180] best thing to do is look on e-bay for the average price a357xp sell for and go from there:thumbup: good luck with the buy

  7. yes mate they bite:thumbdown: the worst cut i had was the wrist [as previous post]but have had many minor cuts to the knuckles and fingers
  8. i had a nasty silky cut this year, had to have a op has i cut a nerve:001_rolleyes: cut was to right wrist. started 1st aid on ground. was able to desend myself 1st aid kit was fine. was taken to a+e by my co worker. i was working for a LA at the time, ive worked for them on many occasions, work for them last week and will be there for 4 days next week,i also work for myself and sub for a few companies. i was lucky as my co worker [who is a full time council empolyee] is also a retained fireman and past a 1st aid course in heavy blood loss,he packed me up well and took me to A+E,i knew it was more than just a cut due to the top of my hand going numb straight away, was refered to a hospital burns and plastic unit, where the wrist was opened back up and nerve repaired:thumbup: only lost a few weeks and have 100% use of hand but still a little numbness.

  16. parked in a grounds of a localish hospital yesterday and spotted a tree and thought whats that? large tree with masses of leaves, very dark green[looks evergreen] the leaves remind me of holly, but not so prickly, they look like holly and the texture is the same,as above very dark green, but very light under, there are a slight few spikes on the ends of leaves is it a kind of holly:001_huh:
