Thats why ive got my own stuff now Like you say rob you feel safer in your own kit you know how its been used and LOOKED after Well this has open'd my eyes... Ill go in tomorrow say what i have been told and..They will just say "Well don't fall out the tree" Then ill get shouted at about refusing to climb....Its a lose lose

Yes we do,We have asked why are we climbing in ground helmets they are causing problems when we climb trees and don't feel safe when where up in the tree we can moan as much as we like but it always falls on deaf ears

Got my self a new shine stihl peltor helmet and i was looking inside and. It seems it can take a chin strap on the inside. If so where could i get 1 for it any ideas The reason why im asking is im using it both as a ground and climbing helmet till i get more money so i can get my self a nice stein climbing helmet Thanks guys

We got told BY THE COLLEGE that they would find us a placement We where also looking on the side. We where told that the college would have a better chance of finding us a placement then us ringing around but we rang helped our self like you have said and still no luck. .....I go by its always better to have help then struggle...

I would say yes.. As its 3days a week Monday,Tuesday and Friday SO the rest of the time you could work as long as you got any assignments in.. It dose say On wendays and thursday Work placement but the college haven't gotten round to helping us out with that i have asked around and had no luck

Thats the one i went for 5/5 for the kit im over the moon with it. The other half is starting to get annoyed that i would rather go climbing then take her out Ill send you a Pm with a bit more info on it

1 step a head there frank The local tree warden is a mate of my mother in laws ((Only good thing about her)) I had a chat with him and he says everything is ok. He has also dropped of some inspection forms i think they are. Advised me to use a cambium saver aswell Mainly for the tree but as frank said saves the rope aswell also if any 1 start moaning just offer to ring the tree warden that will shut them up or just show the paper work for the tree

Its not good over all but we where all over the moon that we dident have to do the woodchipper even tho it the most important thing to get Try and see it from a 17 year old lads view 40q night after night looking at them.. Or a smaller paper where 90% of it is climbing the tree and 10% just on the Qs. To the 90% on the Qs and only 10% on the chipper its self practical work will always win over theory Thats how you learn By doing it no reading it
