Hi Drew, thought I'd seek some advice if you've got a few moments. I'm starting to splice with 6mm Globe and wanted to know if it's a normal doublebraid splice that you use - or something more exotic? It's smaller, and differently constructed, than I normally work on and I'm reluctant to waste unneccessary effort (and money) on avoidable mistakes.

Wow - I would never have guessed! Your link at least allows me to see it in detail but there certainly wasn't a 'oh yes - I thought it was that' moment.

My guesses ranged from something that Hubble photographed to a blue net curtain hanging from the ceiling with one of those wee LED nets behind it!

It is, indeed, beautiful in its abstraction.
