  1. Never thought to look at the time, but might be back there in the summer, so will have a look then.
  2. Yes, but only just, Marton Pool, which is close to the Welsh border, near Welshpool.
  3. Not exactly deadwood, as still some life in this old dog yet, but a nice picture I thought.
  4. Steve, I have just done a postcode search, typed in logs, in firewood, 100 miles of local postcode, got 10 results, me 1st, thats grand, but I notice Logtastic did,nt appear, and he would be my nearest supplier after me
  5. Yep, total respect mate, I ai'nt a climber, but some big lumps of timber there, not sure if I,ve got the balls to do that, not at my age anyway
  6. Plain old IE, but saw Dave's post and tried Safari, but still same result ie: if I do a location search for Cheshire, only Logtastic comes up, Shropshire only I come up, Staffordshire, only Yeomans, I'll download Chrome and see if that works.
  7. Ok, thanks for that, deleted browsing history, still not appearing for me other than in Shropshire, but if it's working for you, hopefully it will be working for others, thanks for the help
  8. Daughters are gone back to uni, how do I "clear cookies", don't worry if you hav'nt got time to help an idiot like me, I'm sure someone else will tell me how.
  9. I have just checked listings in my account, they are all there, maybe I did something whilst I was there I'll try it now.
  10. Yes, they are there in the overview section, I did a comparison with RM Yeomans site and they will appear in a Staffordshire search, but not a Derbyshire one although they specifically mention Derbyshire in their overview.
  11. Steve, as you can see, I changed my signature link, to include 3 counties, as I am based on the border of 2 and within 5 miles of the third. If I do a location search, I will only come up in the Shropshire search, I presume because this is in my address. Is there any way I can get coverage in the other 2 counties, or am I just being greedy
  12. Finally got me head round the link thingy, well actually it was my daughters head, thank God for kids,
  13. Macsalvors Get it here for certain sure
  14. Not sure about that, but asked where he found my number, he said the arbtalk forum, no idea if he googled it or was already on the forum page and hit the firewood directory button.
  15. All looks good to me,and I've already picked up a new customer from it
  16. Nearly half an hour long but some good footage and narrative of how it was. http://www.archive.org/details/gov.archives.arc.13585 I love the bit at the end "The night was filled with music, and the cares that infest the day, shall fold their tents like the Arabs, and then silently steal away".
  17. Typical Redruth, still living in the dark ages 'appy Christmas boy
  18. Have a look here LogRite® Tools logging tools
  19. If they are all carrying on as they did before, dos'nt it say something about the stupidty of this so called ban. I can take as many dogs as I want to hunt a rabbit, but only two to hunt a fox, hare or deer, to flush towards guns. I can take a bird of prey to kill a fox, hare, but not a dog. How can I shoot a fox, leave it wounded and dying of gangrene and not break the law. The hunting ban had nothing to do with animal welfare, it was all about Labour hitting back at the "toffs" as revenge for the miners strike, "Two jags" admitted that. How many hours of parliamentary time did it take up, how many thousands of pounds were spent ramming through a bill on something that the vast majority of people never gave a thought too. Oh yes, and was'nt it about that time that Tony Blair took us into a war that has cost this country millions of pounds, hundreds of lives and a lasting legacy of a terrorist threat, it's a shame they did'nt put more thought into running the country instead of banning hunting! And has the ban done anything for foxes, nope, there are far more killed today than pre-ban.
  20. As I said there are bad apples, but not everybody works like that. I got, and still do, get, a lot of pleasure from field sports, but I like you, abhor cruelty for the sake of it. I too, know those sort of people who seem to enjoy prolonging pain and fear for the fun of it, the only thing you can do is search your own conscience and walk away from them, which you have done, but I would say again, not everyone is like them.
