  3. Evening been milling some spalted beech boards over the weekend 1"2" .Would like to have them kiln dried but dont know of any kilns near me in Northumberland anybody know of a one??

My L200 tipper has put the engine management light on dash & gone into "limp" mode.Ive plugged it into a handheld sealey code reader comes up camshaft position sensor A circuit range.Anybody enlighten me?? Im going to take it to get plugged in & checked out when i get 5 mins off the tractor seat from baling Any advice appreciated cheers
  6. Who's staying where for this years APF?Im staying at The Globe Alcester fri sat night with my fellow worker.Plan is travel down Saturday book in beer food bed.Saturday show early doors hotel food out for the night.Travel home later on Sunday with fit to do so.Thats the plan anyway!!

Theres a old saying you only get what you pay for!!Been down that route didnt last & tct teeth kept snapping off for no apparent reason.In the long run the company got there money back for replacing teeth.Must admit it wasnt that company but another not so many miles from them.Best to be safe where 540rpm blades are concerned.

  16. Which mill for to produce 7"x7" & other fencing materials advice please.As already got 30" alaskin mill & finding it very addictive!!

I have two spare 700mm tct blades surplus to my needs as my saw is now 900mm.One is a kohler blade from Caledonian forestry every other tooth missing designed this way to stop snacking on timber all other teeth there just needs a sharpen for a tenner.other came off palax machine make i cant remember again needs a sharpen PM me if interested with a offer.

Looking for ideas of what to use for a creosote dip tank.My idea is using a old diesel tank cut down but gonna have to be a 10ft tank to take 8ft strainers etc which i plan to mill & treat for my own use.Any body else got a better idea or even a tank for sale??Gonna make a cradle to put timber on to put into tank using forklift.
  19. Took delivery of alaskin chainsaw mill from Rob D earlier in the week.Must say very helpful fella giving a great service.So i watched the assembly guide built it step by step as required. Then it was time to play.I decided to make a 8'x 7"x7" straining post out of a large piece of larch.Did this without any hassle what so ever.Sorry havent got a picture. So dare say tommorow will be playing abit more!!
  20. £50/ton roadside plus vat @20% plus haulage £10-£15 plus 20% vat on that.you'll not be far away at that.you wont see any in my yard at that

  23. Im not usualy a fan of computer games console games:thumbup: but came accross guns on pegs shooting game.Pheasants ducks or pigeons 10 20 30bag games.Very adictive give it a go or who has already tried it??
