Derek there not called porous fords for nothing!!!I used to use a david brown on proccesor had same trouble with fumes so i mad:thumb up a pipe that fitted on exhaust pipe as a tight fit.Then i moved sheds so i put a flue pipe over complete exhaust work well mind they do get sooted up. As for lister id stick with the devil you know.
  2. Im heading to Winmarleigh Preston tommorow to a tractor breakers S J Briggs to collect a back end casting for a case maxxum.Anybody near there that can recommend a good chippy??Got to get the eating place sorted!!

  6. This will be until march at least although i do firewood All year round. As for sharpening of a saw you would be surprised at what comes out of college "trained"!!

Hi all im looking for someone to help out in my busy firewood yard in Morpeth Northumberland.To work alone at times & as part of a team.Duties would include chainsawing so tickets required & somebody that can actualy sharpen a saw!!Saw provided.Running of a palax power 90s processor,running a kindlet kindling machine,splitting & bagging logs & helping with deliveries.Would be a couple of days a week at the moment as busy with other tasks.Then probably five six days a week come November.Would suit a self employed person with own transport.Preferably with experiance of machinery.I pay weekly by BACS payment on reciept of invoice.Caravan with heating tv kettle etc on site for break times.   14. I did thanks went in & had a chat they couldnt quote me for a 900mm blade but they are going to get me a price.Should realy have a spare as blades are normaly away a week for sharpening service.

To solve the problem of not being able to get 18" chunky tyres for my rodeo ive gettin a set of 16" rodeo alloys for the winter.There on 255 70 r16 tyres at the mo.I want to know if i can put a set of 265 70 r16 tyres onto them or if fact possibly larger.Looking at either marix pumas or insa turbo's or something chunky along them lines

Borrowed a husqvarna 385xp off a farmer friend of mine to try on alaskin mill it only went walk abouts on Monday.There was 5 of us working at premises backwards & forwards from 7.30am till 8pm.Somebody still had the cheek to come & steal it.Saw has Maidenshall Farm & postcode written on casing & on bar in black permament marker put on by the police. So keep yr eyes open for it if i find out who knicked they better be a bloomin good fast runner as im a dab hand with a 22.250 rifle
