  3. Hi Guys, We are a Bristol based arb company going through a rapid expansion period. we have now reached the stage where we require some help with general administration within the business, this work will range from answering the phone, doing basic accounting, submitting tree work applications, basic tool maintenance and lots more... The reason I am posting for this role on arb talk is because I'm not looking for a good looking 19 year old dolly who answers the phone to mrs smith and not give the slightest care about her 7 foot apple tree that requires an annual prune, I want somebody who has a general understanding and interest of the industry and also experience so that they can talk sense to the customer and not just say "I don't actually know what you're talking about mrs smith but il pass on the message". The role would suit somebody who is maybe approaching the end of there physical grafting days and is ready for something a little more laid back, or somebody who has maybe picked up an injury and can not work on the tools any more!! The pay will be an average pay for this type of role, and the benefits will be a laid back role within an expanding and exciting company. Please call if interested: 07825046597 Many Thanks Richard Smart Smart Trees Ltd

  5. I mounted mine vertically so that you need to raise the tipper body to get access to them, you can store more as things don't fall out when you open the door, and its very secure. most people would just think its a fuel tank to look at!!

  14. I've had 3 trucks sprayed all of them cost around 1k I've just had my fourth wrapped and regret ever glint to the sprey shop. It's much more durable, easy to repair, cheaper then sprey, graphics can be brined directly to it, if you want to sell it just peels off, no flacking paint, you don't need to inform dvla of change of colour, no brainier as far as I see it....
  15. I have had nothing buy problems from my x2 201s (clutch springs repeatedly breaking, tuning issues, and plastic top handle shattering 2 times. Just got a new husky and so far no complaints. Everything els I own is sthill so it was a big jump to go to huski but felt I had no choice...
  16. I really feel for you mate, I hope you manage to sort this mess out. The powers that be make it almost impossible to run a business in this country and the wonder why it's in such a financial mess!!
  17. I've been looking into this for soooooo long now, I just think its so bloody hard to find a solution that will not be a huge gamble, I've almost given into renting overpriced yard space forever "almost".... If anyone finds the answer then please share with me.. From what I can gather the closest I have found to a solution is to buy a small plot of woodland within a larger woodland "at least 12 acres" offer the owner free Maintanance of his woodland, this means you get a relatively low cost plot of land ithat you can build some type of yard in and please the planning guys because it is there to maintain the woodland. The risks that I can see are: Security: not sure if fencing will be aloud Access roads:not sure what type of track can be laid if any Insurence: who will insure kit kept in a spot with no address? The risk of the owner of the woodland selling or pulling out of the deal. Or expect more then general Maintanance in return. Probably plenty more flaws that I've not considered as well... Back to the drawling board I think!

    Stihl ms261

If all three go then That may be enough to knock me out for good!! Not impressed as this is claimed to be a professional piece of kit! I had the old 260 for 5 years of hard work and it was great so I only presumed that the new and improved would be just that and more!! Is it me or does all the new kit seam to tick all the boxes on paper with co2 emissions and so on but the price for that is poor build quality and very bad performance? I've had similar issues with ms201s and a long reach hedge cutter all purchased in the last 18months. I think stihl may be slipping down a slippery slope and opening up a huge opportunity for its competitors...

I am a victim of this fault. The saw is 6 months out of warrantee(18 months old) and is essentially a right off!! I have bought 3 261s in the last 18 months so can only pray that this does not happen to all of them!!
