  10. This is very sound advice, and I would do very much the same. There's no easy way, its going to be blood, sweet and tiers. Have you got a tufor or lugal hand winch if not get one. Just out of interest mate, how big is the standing timber tone wise?
  11. The question is: do you have necessary machinery to do the task in hand ? i.e harvester, timber jack? tractor with winch, forwarder? or are you thinking of doing manually? machinery is the way forward if you want to be hyper productive. all the best mate, regards western:thumbup1:
  12. On the flip side, maybe it's giving something back to the tax payer, selling it at that price.
  13. spot on i have the art positioner on my side strop, handy little tool! especially when climbing resinous tree sps.
  14. I have to agree, but.. i think its a method he should get out of. i have a new climber in work with me, (just passed he's tickets) he uses this method on his flip line/side strop and finds it a pain in the butt, he had a go of my rope grab and loved it.
  15. Buy a rope grab of some sort, job done:thumbup1: i don't now why people use prussic on a flip line, don't you find it awkward?
  16. Forest Park and garden, in Treforest. Rees and Trev are top blokes and will happily advice you on a harness. Hope this helps, regards Western.
