  2. its all coming down to just above the main folks where ian did the coronets on the back side just couldnt risk the platform when the wind picked up more than it already was, so got to be finished off
  3. working for ian flatters today, on a rather windy day up in the basket. did what i could before the wind really picked up and we grounded the platform and ian climbed up the back section made the best of a rubbish day.   6. one thing i cant get comfy on my TM is the leg loops because they have them elastic bits on the back ive got them adjusted fully out but they still wont go down far enough and the leg loops keep causeing alot of pain in the groin,

  9. ive got the VIO POV 1.5 from action camaras off the net very good camara for trees best ive found so far alot of guys use the same. also got a camcorder aswell now for ground views to mix in with the helmet views.
  10. i do videos for fun cause im sad and love watching them and just looking back on jobs, but recently i was talking with a client and they mentioned how impressive my videos were (from a non tree persons view anyway) and thats what drew him to give me a call so they do work in some occasions

  12. birches reduce really nicely in my experience one which had been cut off in past at 9ft just sliced across we came and done a proper reduction on it and it looks good now i think

  15. i could have stuck it in the big V folk above where it is, but i wouldnt have anchored in any higher there was die back in the top, also apart from 1 limb the rest were straight forward easy to get out branches which didnt need a good anchor point. cheers for that sean i shall store that in my memory for next time if ever i get to do 1
  16. found the work position absoultely fine on vertical sort of branches, as soon as you have a really flat long branch it became very hard to get in a position.

  18. nice shots beech is and always will be my favourite tree, worked at a hotel the other week and found in there beer garden a couple of monster beech pollards

  20. no video im afraid wasnt worth while filming reli, that notch in the felling cut was for the bottle jack no camara in cut again just yet anyways
