    finally got a chance to go back and clear up the rest of this failed poplar tree from 2-3 weeks back was a total arse to deal with in the ditches and landed on 3 hedge lines total distruction.

    Ive bought 1 if these muck truck max's with tow ball attachment aswell to tow my trolley etc and put my chipper away at night loads of uses ill have for it.

    Cheers guys was a nightmare to climb once i got to the top only took a hour to get rid of that stem horrible climbing though had to cut footholds into the ivy, the tyres are 1 of the best buys ive made mark! I knew there was metal the stump had to be low anyways so would have had to cut it at some point. Just annoying on a big bar!

    so today was the day we got this tree down finally, dismantled the whole road side stem then winched it over with the landy. totally messed up the felling cut massive gob thanks to alot of metal

    Im fully aware it will/has made a big difference and only time will tell how the rest of the truck will cope we shall see

    It is indeed my open fire isnt doing its job so tonight finally ordered a wood burner and a flexible flue liner and fixing kit so ill be sorted this winter

    after id finished todays job i went and thought id go see if i could get it stuck in the mud in daylight went all over my yard still couldnt get it stuck doesnt struggle with mud at all now totally amazed with the difference really.     Depends what sort of lengths you want dan, i was going to get a crane if someone wanted the timber but no one seemed interested before. Ive gotta lower it all now instead.

    They have made the world of difference ive just been to my waterlogged very churned up yard i couldnt get on at all ive drove allround it no worries at all in 5-6 inches of mud no wheel spinning cant belive the difference!

    Mark the tyres turned up today mega offroady 205/80-16 took them to my mates garage and we werent sure they would fit but they do with just as much room as the normal tyres did totally awesome!!!!

    Try not to get worried about it as said above i get the groundy to give me the top level then i no where top is going to be, i can then shape the rest, go with your instints you will know where every branch needs to end up to fit the shape. Just crack on and try and enjoy it.

    Saying that ask me again on the 20th or 21st of this month thats when im doing a dead 110ft wellingtonia dismantle removing all chip and timber from site priced it tight cause i wanted the job once in a life time tree round these parts!

    Im yet to muck up and make a loss yet, but ive climbed for a guy who really messed up on 2 conny dismantles! Said would be a easy day! Took 3 crack of dawn to evening days to get them down to make it worse we were on a really rough estate so had to watch the kit and all the so and sos all at home watching us every minute he sure hasnt made a mistake like that again!

    Cheers felix my sat nav tells me the wrong speed in every car so ill have to try someones better sat nav i think!

    These are what ive ordered 4 of these its the same width 205 so will go on my rims going to be alot higher and speedo will be totally out just going to be trial and error i think see how i get on! 205R16 99P Kingpin Hilander Tyres order online from Tyres Direct
