  10. Yep, but not really my thing. First instrument was tuba when I was 9, then double bass at 11 as well as electric. Should never have given up the double, but an 11 year old kid carrying around a double bass is a funny site. I play guitar too.
  11. Tim, 5 string basses have a low B string. Means you can go low baby. I play all sorts, funk, soul, blues, covers, I also do sessions. Its really useful having 4 extra low notes. I couldn't ever play a 4 string again
  12. I use DR's. Tried nickels for the first time, wow they are great!
  13. Just about to put some fresh strings on the smith. The Musicman had a fresh set and it sounds amazing now.

  17. Not sure of the question but here are a few basses from my favorite luthier from Brooklyn. They cost about $10k EACH
  18. You and I both know what it's like rigging from a bucket Tim. Number 1 rule is to not touch the bucket with wood. I watched the vid over on the buzz, good work, good guy.
