  3. Not so much of a freak, just like control Mid tying in those close situs makes handling the branch on the ground way easier... Wilco mate, thats the old cam that I thought was broke after it fell out of the Queens Giant, but it resurrected itself. Fnaar fnaar Finbar Saunders
  4. Don't over think things too much. KISS
  5. Finished article..
  6. Cheers, no I didnt use the RnW... Just a big ground guy (and two small pulleys). The RnW would have been perfect for this kind of job though...
  7. Remove declining maple, through house, avoid targets, hot day. Balance tying, then steering 180' into drop zone. Easy tree. Watch in HD if you watch. Cheers! [ame] [/ame]
  8. Hey steady girls, I got dragged up in Herefordshire in the deepest countryside, then just over the border in Wales. I miss the hills!
  9. Whatever it is its a BEAST!
  10. Yeh as I said its not for big wood. But neg rigging trunk wood is possible.... just dont go big!
  11. Youd bee surprised! I made a video using it the first time, but it got lost on a corrupt computer. We were confidently taking 3-4 times the amount 1 guy could hold alone by hand. Obviously nothing huge, or trunk wood, but for standard duty rigging purposes it works. Also the climber can take a hold of the rope freeing up the groundsman. Shame I lost that video, it showed what was capable of the rnw.
  12. Ill say it once more. Rig'n'wrench.
  13. Use the rignwrench then stupids can just hold the rope.

  20. Ill prob use my 5/8ths polydyne rigged up with a few pulleys off the kitchen ceiling onto the portawrap mate. Might need some mechanical advantage to lift them into the pan though. Hmm
