  2. Pfft talk about all the gear....ha
  3. That will serve you very well to start out with.
  4. You honestly dont need heavy duty for rigging branches, or limbs for that matter, mate... Trust me, I know, KISS, keep it simple.
  5. ......And rigging large wood. For me, 1/2 inch 13mm to you, gets all but big stuff done no problems. For big big, then I bust out 5/8th Yale rope, and an appropriate pulley/rigging ring. Which will cover ANYTHING you are man enough to throw at it
  6. Pinto Rig can take 16, ooh err matron MBS: 50kN Rope Capacity: 5/8" (16mm) Efficiency: 95% Length: 103mm Width: 51mm Weight: 124g Source: Wales
  7. Makes me laugh, OP said he wasnt doing anything massive, and instantly the most robust and expensive 'impact block' gets mentioned. Get a pinto Rig for light/medium stuff! You'd be surprised what they can do. Then spend your saved $$$ on other stuff.
  8. Thanks for taking the time to watch and post your comment!
  9. Left it at above fence height. And I ain't clearing any of it up either.. That's Louis Jordan Paul.
  10. Nope jomo nothing on that pole apart from the breeze. That branch was holding it up by a whisker!
  11. Damn lucky the old boss didnt climb up it like his plan was. He would of been a goner.
  12. Basicially to run a washing line at different heights, so people who dont have ground access can hang washing out. Anyway, Thats the first time Ive worked close to one, we were supposed to be cutting it in half, but I saved that job!
  13. 30 foot laundry ladder, just hanging on by a thread. No dogs died in this job. [ame] [/ame]
  14. Stop nit picking Bolam. Been on the fosters have we? Just good that some of you are supporting Lawrence and his efforts in this great concept.
  15. If youre not in a position to have two hands on the saw, then you dont have good working position. Only in cases of being way out on limbs is one handling away from the body (kind of) acceptable... get into the good habits while you're young. Huge can of worms here.... but... carry on, climb safe, cut safe, watch plenty of good climbing/cutting vids on youtube, and yeh, look up Gerry Beranek. He is worth researching
  16. Yeh you must be doing it wrong Matty. Do you have the butterfly valve? Its all about the wrist action, matron.
  17. bolam, sure, just send me 40 big ones and I will pass that on to the man.
  18. Yeh and Treestuff sell them. As designed by nick Bonner.
  19. You were right bullman, folks are more interested in sponges lol you won
  20. Bump. Anyone interested in furthering their knowledge of climbing SRT this is GOLD information, from one of the leading climbers out there.. Is there genuinely no interest for it?
  21. It must of been cut and chuck if skyhuck watched
