  6. It was a private tree, you can see the hole in the pics it came from. The yard was bricked off years ago do that prob strangled the tree. It was totally rotted inside at the base, with about 3 inches of wood around the outside, and ailanthus is heavy. Strong winds put it down. Just damage to the big ac unit on the first roof, nothing else. Thanks for watching
  7. Deffo. Imagine DdRTing that tree. LOL
  8. Nah not really mate. Working in Manhattan people sometimes go a bit crazy, don't cut too much etc, and you get people taking the branches away like its valuable lol. I wouldn't trade it for anywhere just yet.
  9. Base tied into one of those hemlocks. That's a Pfannerman tree, he pruned it last year.
  10. Cheers. Well I just got a new to me laptop, huge difference in processing power, makes making movies a lot lot quicker.
  11. Ill keep on posting on the forum, just to try and keep the real treework side of it alive, and kicking. Even though the interest in work vids is waining in the last year, people are more interested in rugged phone, what chainsaw to buy etc. LOL Anyway here is another day of contracting. Fell 2 wiggly mulberrys with the help of an excavator, then prune a dying limb from a large red oak. [ame] [/ame]
  12. Is it working or is there just tumbleweed rolling through here
  13. 6 stories high, wobbly, broken out wounds, buildings, Windows, roofs, but no cables! Woo
  14. TBH Rich its real soft wood, so easy with the handsaw for the brush, but no way was I going into big wood with it. This is one of the guys that Pfannerman used to climb for before he moved to Cali, now I hold the reigns. Its fricking awesome. Steve, get back to the SRT school and keep on. This tree was so small it wouldn't have helped lol.
  15. Yeh I did one in Manhattan in a penthouse $$$$$$$!! Place, the other month, bagged it up and down thru the elevator onto the street. I'm getting used to it no. Got another tmrw thru the house but it's under construction. Planted 8 street trees on the upper east side today. I should of had blinkers on! So much to look at it was hard digging them holes haha
  16. I accessed a tricky mulberry with ease srt yesterday, over a 30 foot wall. Did the pruning from the tip, base tied to the fence, 45 mins, $950. Would have been tough ddrt lol
  17. If it's the same one it happened minutes from the office I work out if in red hook. The construction company got sued to hell. The delivery biker had earphones on. He later died rip
  18. This is why we spend more time at The Treehouse mate.
  19. No noise till 11. Small ailanthus. Usual backyard work. Ugly lol [ame] [/ame]
