  2. Also wouldn't the possible combinations be endless? in grafting, that is?
  3. is then, a true chimaera, a genetic mutilation of cells created either spontaineously or induced by irradiation leading to different denotypes growing adjacently in the plant? In that case do chimaeras occur all the time but go unnoticed to the naked eye - thornlessness in some species, petal or colour variations on the same tree etc And if this is a regular occurence can it be studied in some way to help trees in the long run against diseases, pests or even in some extreme cases human intervention?

  5. When grafting are the possibilities endless? From reading the notes I know its a somewhat specialised procedure and is mainly used for roses, fruit trees, ornamentals and the like, but is it possible to graft anything and create a new cultivar for specific flowers with a certain leaf structure? For example the flowers of an aesculus on a fraxinus variety? Or am I just heading way off the mark? Just a thought thats all..!

Been to a different site today and was amazed to find quite a lot of the agarics all together, must've been getting on for 40ish.. anyway there are a few in different stages and it turns out eventually they go yellow?? sorry for the amount of photos but i'm having fun:thumbup: but think thats the lot from me this week as i've got uni work to catch up on:blushing:
  8. Went back to monday's finds and my litle bluey had changed and grown a neighbour
  9. i did get 3 other pics of little pinky before she died but :- a. there on my pc and i'm on the laptop at mo 2. mobile blurriness took over!! and III. there was tons of it all on one branch
  10. i may have a problem then.... My cohort chipped that branch!! twas a mistake really but that fung has gone, it's ship has set sail but you didn't really want to hear that though did you??

  13. more from today but struggling to id these (same site as yesterday but other side of pond) ps the flash on my phone spoiled the first one which i think is sime sort of inkcap?
  14. whats with the weird "60 or 70" dubbed over the top at 1:04? and at 6:27 you sent the rope back up, it looked liked it was tangled still with the lowering hitch/knot in it, mr epps would've wasted seconds undoing that:thumbup:
