1.
HI kev. Tom Pugh here. we met after the AAAC day at Fraddon. Hows tricks?

  2. That'd be lovely...

  3. LOL cheers mate- have used a few 530t's, and have always found them to be fab machines. I particularly admire the no stress, which is the quickest and most effective i have come across. I am serious about selling my vermeer, but having said that, a tracked 8" jensen may be too much money for me, unless i can get vermeer to sort my 935i first......

  4. Yeah- those alaskans are ok for hobbying or for truly inaccessible logs, but they arent a serious tool IMO.(I still have mine in the shed though and it gets aired on really big stuff to get it to the bandsaw size of 3':001_smile:

  5. Hi ian. Mine is a hudson osacr 36. It is cheaper than a mizer, bigger than a mizer, uses mizer blades and has better blade guides than a mizer, which seems to be getting a better cut than a mizer does. It isnt covered in fancy log turners or hydraulics etc, which is why its cheaper, Although you can buy these for it. I could have paid alot more for a secpond hand mizer which would have been worn out. Speak to Curtis at Just Saws,(tell him I sent you) or catch him at the APf- he will well sort you out. Me and another mill which is a mizer are both supplying a huge build down here, and the customer keeps telling me he is finding my cutting far more accurate than that of the mizer, and we are all good mates, so it isnt sour grapes etc. I cant reccomend hudson highly enough.

  6. Yes- not very far at all. Give me a bell. and we could link up mate!

  7. Hi Pete. Just a quick hello and amusing anecdote....I was at a heavy horse working day yesterday, and had a card popped under the windscreen wiper from a certain Hazel Honeybourne, a marketing director for greenmech. It made me smile at the sort of irony that i can speak direct to you. Good effort on her part tho- she must have been on holiday and noticed the landy (VERY obviously an arb truck!) so i thought i would drop you a quick message he he.

  8. Good to meet you too Ad. You can come and get wood as soon as you like.....i am truly struggling for space now...Just give me a bell or a text and we'l go from there.

  9. Aspen........you mean poplar.......lol

  10. Not yet. Took the head to get tested at cornwall engine company today and they gave it the all clear and skimmed it, so we are awaiting a new head gasket to get a really good comparison tomorrow, as it has pretty much got to be the head gasket if the head is ok.

  11. Hello mate. Tricky one that. I would have thought AT LEAST 50 wouldnt be far off. The shortness is a slight issue and has affected the price. Stick an thread up on here and see if you get any takers.....Sorry if thats not much help mate.

    Tommer.

  12. Hey? Its not my job, but the price put in by TCD was more in the region of thousands not hundreds i think.

  13. You want to speak to a lady called Nicky Carlyon of the Kernow Training Group. Her number is 01726860204 or her mobile is 07774951739. All the Best, Tom Pugh.

  14. November in the Lizard???? You must like weather! LOL. PM me nearer the time and we'll link up!
