  2. As title, has anyone got 10m-ish Boa rope they want to sell me as I need a tiny bit more to finish job of I can pick up around Somerset way or happy to pay postage. Sam
  3. As title, I bust the bar adjuster over a week ago now and I can't seem to get one. Does anyone shave a spare or any suppliers have one available for immediate deliver to St Austell way. Thanks. Sam
  4. I did reload under tension, I even winched back in about 5m and it still wouldn't return so i'm confident about it not being a problem with cable overlapping.
  5. I have been using this winch for a few months now and all of a sudden it won't let the wire out. I wasn't using it at the time so I can't really get to the bottom of what happened but it seems that after winding in it wasn't easily retrievable. I anchored wire to tree and manually pulled it out with tractor thinking that it may of just wrapped round itself but this didn't solve the problem. Coupled with the fact that we are working a long way from home and my reluctance to start taking it apart in the woods. So I'm really after any advice on what the problem could be and any solutions. Sam
  6. Had one on extended test drive couldn't fault the 2.2 engine and combination of of road ability and comfort. Ordered one dont get it till end of year in spec I wanted seems they are quite south after. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. Due to work load we need an extra pair of hands next week, need cs30 but 38 would be handy. Working in West Somerset area mainly brash dragging and assisting winch man. Get in touch via pm. Sam
  8. Use one nearly every day. It was weird getting use to how small diameter rope was, would recommend different knot until rope is worn in and go for 5m as is useful as small srt set up. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Different sizes .325 on 261 and 3/8 on 441. Why not just go for 660? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. I'll give it a go, who do I invoice? On a serious note wouldn't a crane make job quite easy?

  19. When I first set up I had a 200t and a 660, it made most financial sense at the time so over the years I have acquired a full range of bars and chains from 18" to 36" now things are moving on I have more saws but I don't think I could ever be without the 660 or 200t there the only saws to be repaired not replaced. 20. Well I need two saws so will prob get 560 for new guy and be able to give my 2 cents to the next guy. I did like the fact I can swap bars and chains from 660. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
