  1. But being perfect makes up for it all ,
  2. Start off by seeing if you can get hold of a schematic wiring diagrame , from there you should be able to trace which section/ side of the loom may be effected , from there it's a game if hide and seek with the loom
  3. Cheers. :thumbup:you never know I may well see if holt can arrange a demo
  4. Yeah it's an ex Wpd hoist , it has been at work almost every day for the last 3 weeks , which is typical as it was meant to be in to have some body work tidied up and get it sign written lol story of my life !
  5. Someone didn't use enough no more nails in the factory lol
  6. Sounds like a plan So is there a central grease bank on the new TW ? I think one of the only issues with sending Chippers out with teams it trying to get them to actually grease them
  7. Had one on demo and found it to be a really useful piece of kit . I didn't go for one in the end solely down to the figures not stacking up
  8. Ha sorry that makes me laugh even more
  9. Here is our latest addition to the fleet of land rovers
  10. I had a Woodwarm stove fitted two winters ago , we opted for the 15 kW stove with saddle , it is the only source of heating that we have and out only supply of hot water . We have found it to be a really really great stove .
  11. Sure, if I was looking for a small chipper then I would have a look at a TW , well of course that's if huck says that I'm allowed lol
  12. Have a read back through this thread and the previous thread regarding the new TW , I'm sure that you are ever the open minded , fair , impartial, objective , non fence sitting moderator that you proclaim to be so surely you must be right ............. Right ? Pffft
  13. Actually huck I was talking more from the end users point of view , but feel free to interpret it any way you like . How many people buy a sub 750 chipper as their only chipper ?
  14. To be fair I think a lot of the controversy surrounding the new TW is not overly fair , a sub 750 kg is not really capable of being the sole machine for contractors , if it was then it would be described as "the contractors machine" rather than the 190 , if you want a sub 750kg chipper that chips 6" timber then great , however if like me you want throughput and a machine that will work hard all day every day that's built like a tank etc etc then your looking for a chipper that weighs more than 750kg .
  15. I may well do , or a May see it at work up at the apf .
  16. All of which effects throughput
  17. Thank I actually pointed it out as an issue that may take sone of the gloss of of a Brahe new competitor to the market , I actually quite want to send the machine working : good luck and will hope to see you at the APF
  18. I don't have a beef with timberwolf , I generally frustrating that often marketing information can be both miss read or misleading , I do hope the the 230 is sub 750 kg with fuel . Yes chip volumes are usually quoted on cube , which again leads to the pedantic question of how much this chipper can chip , as far as I am aware every other manufacture can put a figure on what the maximum throuput an hour is , for instance a Jensen a240 has an approximate 23m3 per hour . A schliesing 200mx has an output of approximately 8m3 per hour ( not bad for a 5.5 inch machine) so really all i am asking is what is its approx output per hour is and not that it chips over 5 tons per hour as it reads to me that they are not actually sure
  19. Was there a putrid green transit parked outside lol ??
  20. I had figured that the weight reads 749kg but does not state when fully fuelled it then lists a fuel capacity further down the spec . So can only guess that the chipper weighs more when fuelled ?? He throughput per hour really is not that obvious , I don't think I have ever seen a spec sheet with an over .. Tons per hour , usually I would expect to see up to .. Tons per hour which would indicate that the manufacturer knows pretty accurately how much their chipper can chip per hour . But I can understand that maybe the TW has not been trialled enough to know that yet
  21. Looks like the machine weighs over 750 when full of fuel ? , also I'm a little curious as to why it says over 5 tons an hour ?! I mean ten tons an hour is over 5 tons right ? ..........
  22. Are there any figures available on throughput per hour , weight(with fule) etc .? Thanks
  23. Having used pretty much every make of 6" chipper on the market I would have to agree that a schliesing is the best I have ever used and that's why I bought one , my staff love it and it is a lot more productive than a TW , yes it costs a lot more but then if you think about it a BMW or an Audi cost an awful lot more than a Ford , you get what you pay for in life . Now all I need to do if find a front mount schliesing for my mog :-)
  24. I do have a spare reversing box for a unimog if anyone was to be interested
