Yes jack is a legend. He tought me in the mid 90's and Boydy as well. Learnt so much from them. Well Happy retirement to him. I can't believe he has been going for so long! There was another chap who did idents back then. Does anyone remember him?

Thanks i am nervous but eager to get on with the course!. Starting to get the books in now. trying to juggle family life and business and coursework together is going to be challenging. going to have to shut myself away in the office every night!

Hi everyone i am looking to do the course in September at Merrist Wood and i am really after advise on positives and negatives on people who have done it and what they think of it and where it has got them to now. I am looking to hear from anyone who are in the same boat as well. i have done 18 years of tree surgery running my own business and want to add this to my cv. This is something i should of done a long time ago but never thought of doing it. I went to the open evening tonight just to get more info but it was so busy i could not get a look in. No way! just one night for us will do. could'nt bare doing it for three nights. i think we wil head up friday morning then camp out friday night.

What no one camping!!!!! you r all woosy's We braved it last time it was on but my god was it cold there was frost on the tent in the morning! . it was a rubbish campsite as well. Does anyone know good campsite near to it. We might head up thursday afternoon and then camp out.

Hi I have a Pto run log splitter if you are interested, sits on three point linkage 8-9ton splitting capacity has an adjustable table and a chain to adjust the height of the splitter and also comes with 4 way splitter. Pm if you want more details.

No Ganoderma at the base but roots very rotten. The field is very wet so this didn't help. Very sad as this is one of the oldest in the estate. Was a fine example of an English Oak.
