  1. Think it is just for convenience always seems a bit strange to me 1 body training and 1 assessing, suppose it is about conflict of interest. TBH ABC don't even seem to know the difference.
  2. Think the bloke broke his arm after that was taken.
  3. Nice work mate:thumbup1:
  4. Do you have to check that they stop a saw?
  5. It will require spending more money though if you get a REAL hedge trimmer. Whats a real hedge cutter out of interest?
  6. This one looks the muts Exenco DM150 drop-feed wood chipper on eBay (end time 23-May-10 22:07:51 BST)
  7. Sorry to hear that, I do a lot of garden and grounds maintenance. Think you do too, thats whats worries me more losing regular customers. Me and my cousin who does the same have a understands to help each other out if we get ill. Sadly insurance doesn't cover that.
  8. Nice work somewhere to sit as well.
  9. See if you can get a demo as with any mower they can look good but block up with damp grass or be too slow.
  10. I wonder how he died?
  11. Totally agree he did made a joke that he couldn't afford me on a day rate, which is good because I dint have one. Well one I tell anyone:wink:.
  12. I agree, but same can be said for the expensive bloke. Suppose if he is on a day rate he might drag it out and do a better job.
  13. Pic says it all
  14. Thats one way to do it:thumbup1:
  15. Bet he will love it if you beat him up on the price:001_tt2:
  16. Done a little clearing and grave digging job for a customer today. He needed his patio re-laid, made a comment that some people wanted as much as he earnt as a professional. To which I joked depended what sort of pro he was. Told me he had found a good bloke at £80 a day + £5 for a laborer. This I thought was a bit cheap no way I would lay slabs for that.
  17. Maybe he fainted when he got your PM
  18. What you mean you want paying there was no mention of pay in his first post.
  19. I loved the original series a year with Fred, bet he had never heard the phrase risk assessment. Sham he was born 100 years too late.
  20. Well done PA1 is easy being multi guess.
  21. I think £20-£25 if fair do most of my work on price thou people seem to prefer that around here
  22. I agree people don't reallies all the running around you have to do, job isn't finished when you leave still have to dump the rubbish and unload the tools. Thats why I hate small fencing repair jobs and only do them for regulars.
  23. I'd built in the faffyness as I realised that it would be there when I quoted, a mistake that I would have made in the past on jobs like these. Hard to quote jobs like that better to add a bit then work a day for nothing.
  24. This is the stuff I use Garden Fencing | Garden Gates | Garden Fencing Panels | Fence Panels | Decking | Timber Posts guaranteed for 25 years but expensive.
  25. Thats cool seen the vid before but good to hear someone who has used them, whats the price like?
