  1. Morning, fresh and breezy here on the west coast.
  2. 2nd time using the Robo winch yesterday, worked really well and good for pushing timber and brash too. 8e8895ee-4f2c-44f0-b82c-78d27a69fc3c.mp4
  3. Morning, yesterday was a cold 1 with heavy rain then snow. Todays much better, I am concerned about the bumblebee I saw on Sunday though! small woodland tidy up job today.
  4. Morning folks, amazing weather yesterday. Lapwings were courting and I saw a bumblebee! wee bit of rain through the night here, felling with Robo winch today and everything left on site.
  5. I have swinging hammer on the Robo, saving for a fixed tooth. Fed up changing hammers but it’s a huge jump in money. fixed tooth spins faster and up to speed quicker I’d say, much tougher and not as much debris flying, glides over the rocks compared to whacking and breaking hammers, bolts, collars and nuts. What I would say is when it gets to whips skinny stuff it’s harder to catch with the gaps between tooth’s. But you can just go into the soil . the Robo never dies compared to the digger always needing to come off the button for moving the boom up and out but the drum momentum keeps going.

  12. Beaver damage Doug! They really want in the garden! We had to undo all the temporary fencing just to get in the garden. This is the first Pine I’ve seen them eat, must like Cuprinol!

  14. Morning, blue sky and frosty again. Broken co dom stem of a Scotspine jammed up on another in a garden beside the steam railway line today in a garden. Chipper exhaust will be used to heat up fingers today I reckon.

  17. Morning, it’s dry out there and blue skys just behind the cloud. Meeting with Woodland trust about a wee job then the days my own. May have something to put on the Potter thread tomorrow.

  19. Morning, stormy here. The old backs saying I’ve been having too much fun so a seized up Sunday it is!😂. Got my containers and stuff moved yesterday so a fresh lick of paint in spring and she’ll be dandy.
  20. Good morning folks!! cravking blue sky morning here yesterday back home! wild few days and a lot of rain for most of us I think! Breakfast is going on, mates coming round for grub and move my portacabin then we’re going to play with our new mega log splitter
