if it comes straight from the german council you are quids in, they have to go through an mot over there. it is like buying any vehicle, most are ok but sometimes you can get a pig in a poke..get one checked out before you buy, saying that i just liked the look of mine, had a play and bought them. they were all recommended by acprice as he knew them

google acprice, he will come up first, some mogs are left hand drive mark. i couldnt put a nut in a monkeys mouth but i have a mog, if they break down then just get someone to fix it, thats what i do..if you plan on buying a mog, then plan to do a lot more work with it, but with bigger turnover comes bigger repair bills. i am looking at another mog just now in the region of 50k, but you can spend as little as 5 k for a little play about. it depends what it has on it, you can pick up a flat bed x army mog for under 10k, but one with all the agg stuff on it and chip body, depending on which model, under 20k is going to be a bit rough i reckon.

alex price all the way, if a mog is very shiny, just been resprayed and smells like halfords then stay away from it. i have run mogs for 7 years now, go for it..

i used to have a small skidsteer, when you could get it in it was great but it did mess up grass and slabs those little artic loaders look the bizz, great yard machine aswell

the one i have is edd, maybe my dimensions are wrong, it must be about the smallest tandem axle plant trailer you get..do you have any dealers up this way edd, i would love a demo of one..

the thing is with hilux's is you cant kill them, you can bash then, crash them and treat them like a tractor aswell, it will look knackered but still keep going, top gear proved that to joe public but we knew it already, i had a jacked up hilux tiger, it was a thailand import crew cab, jacked right up with huge tyres, roll bars and front and back winches, its only let down was its 3litre diesel engine, it was really torquey for off roading but crap on the road, 50mph max on the flat..i loved it for but when the babies come along the toys have to go

it would just be for working around the town edd, my yard is about half a mile out, so if i wanted the lad to nip down for a job it would save the hassle loading it onto a trailer, and if it could tow a small timber trailer or 6x4 ifor that would be great for picking up hedgeings and dumpy bags of sawdust

i looked at one 9 years ago for my skidsteer at the time, they wanted about 5k, i burst out laughing and i got the usual apf reply 'you miserable scottish git'

i was thinking of getting a transport box made up and sticking it on the rear linkage, we might get a discount for buying 2 huck!:001_cool:anyone tried the boxer loader that is on here in an advert:001_smile:

i like the small articulated one that arc uses, dont know the name but i have heard they are really sturdy and manueverable

it is tricky when they are so small, just glad they are on the mend

pallets underneath and tarp over the top, let the wind howl through the pile

never clean the climbing kit, hang it up if its wet and the dehumidifier dries it out by morning, did it once with the pillow case thing when i first started out, but it nearly wrecked the machine..i dont see how the harness can get smelly, the only thing that gets ponky is the muffs:blushing:but a wet wipe round them does the trick:001_cool:

holy smokes, no one cared about landscaping until the site folded.this thread has had more posts than landscapertalk had last month i reckon, there is a reason for that. landscaping and gardening is soooooooooo boring, plodding around with a rake all day, picking out weeds from patios:sad:...give me a saw anyday:001_cool:
