  1. i have done a good few dead ones already over the last few years, loads are all dying off in my area, heres one i found today, this tree had leaf on it at the start of the summer:thumbdown:and it nieghbours leafs are looking a bit dodgy too

  8. woodpicker has a nice little stumpy in calssifieds at the side of the page, great wee machines. really easy to operate, as long as they are kept sharp and you do your prep well, i watch a lot of guys do stumps that havent a clue what they are doing, taking to much off and never stopping to fill the whole in as they go with shreddings to keep it level..

  12. as long as you can still hook on the chipper it wil be fine i reckon, new kit is always good.
  13. hedge cutting is crap on a good day mate, you would be soaked in the first 2 mins. truck far more important, i take it they have had to shorten the main body to fit the tipper, it looked like it had a big overhang
  14. i wear the type c all year round, they are so much better than the other makes i recon, i got mine of fr jones and son, he was doing a good deal a month back, he might have some left still on offer
  15. it is heavy rain here today and i have some horrblie sycamores to reduce full of ivy, and the banking is steep as hell covered in moss, so the drag is torture, so i am leaving it for a nicer day, whay you guys off today?

  17. chris shepherd had a monster splitter for the tractor with conveyor belt, seriously awesome it was. about 3k i think
  18. normal tractor £30 quid an hour with implement plus diesel, if you are using the crane i would want another £20 quid an hour..what about chains, if their wood is full of metal then they can pay for new chains..

  20. i think you are aswell buying a different one than trying to change one about, let someone else spend a fortune from the start
  21. a bumble bee sting will freeze your arm aswell, never seen a horse fly though.
  22. big wide ag tyres and tyre inflation makes the world of difference
