    Good morning guys, 400 miles driving to jobs the last 2 days, I was a passenger so was pretty enjoyable. Off to physio at 8am then off up the river Robo flailing a nice grassy flood plain for 3 days.

    Good morning guys, hope you are all well. I’m going to have a good day and things are going well for me just now, I would usually type away almost bragging about how great it’s going to be but I’m not, most of the day I’m anxious and stressed and jumping from 1 thought to the next working myself up about stuff. So back to why I originally started this thread, if your having a tough time I wish you all the best and reach out to anyone if they offer and also have a think if there’s anyone not on your usual radar who might just need a good morning text or a pop in and a cuppa and an ear to listen.

    Evening, clean forgot to sign in as I was planning to be off today. But got bored so went to work at lunchtime.

    Had the 2.5, on small tyres I got 41mpg , when I put on BFG 25 mpg.

    Had to say goodbye to the little truck, timing chain went on her a few months back, we’ve taken off the tipping body and ram that might get used in any future projects, seems such a shame but nobody wanted it or wanted to fix it. IMG_4307.mov

    Compared to a fixed shear straight onto the hitch, it outweighed it by far. Compared to a fixed rotator it was a compromise. I bought the Nisula as I have a good relationship with AC Price and I wanted 1 the next day, it was well built and faultless, I was the 1 using it not for what it was made for, hanging off a timber crane.

    Once you solve this problem I recommend you buy a fuel funnel with a fine mesh and keep it in a box or plastic bag, contamination is the simplest thing to help avoid and 1 of the most simplest ways to ruin a good day and trying to get sorted. Most of us learned the hard way. Best of luck

    I used to run a Nisula felling shear, purchased from AC Price engineering. Turns your digger into a giant pair of loppers. Pros of that were I could shear at all angles, all directions even towards myself, so I could reach over fences and shear hedges etc, removeable blade so it was a timber grab too and no electrics needed either, just 1 2 way function and 1 standard return, cons I lost a lot of height because the shear, rotator and dampener were about 3’ in length. The rotator wasn’t fixed to I had limited height and cut and hold capabilities. A fixed shear I’d go TMK, they seem to have the biggest diameter cut and very simple. If I had a big budget I’d go Jake from Jas P Wilson, full fixed rotator and removeable blade and will cut 200mm, you’ve pretty much got a robot arm shearing machine. Wilson’s are great to deal with.

    Sounds like fuel like the others day, if I remember there’s an inline fuel filter between tank and carb, I’d be starting there.
