  1. Morning, frosty fresh start here.

  3. Good morning, off to physio then back to work for us.
  4. Happy New Year guys, all the best! Coffee and celebrations for breakfast!
  5. Morning, a dusting of snow last night, coffee and pancakes then out a dog walk.
  6. Morning guys, seems a lot of areas got hit by the storm, lots around me but not in my village thankfully. Plan on getting some machine maintenance done and walk the dog. Enjoy your day!

  8. Morning guys, happy Boxing Day hopefully for everyone. We have a few inches of snow and frosty morning so nice and crunchy for a walk.
  9. Merry Christmas guys! I’ll now sit and wait for my eldest to get up! He better hurry up or I’ll start hoovering!😂. It’s my youngest 15 birthday today, he’s at his mums so I’ll go get him at 12pm.
  10. Morning, ended up on call outs yesterday afternoon, so we are off to tidy up a Scots Pine I made safe. Is this the shortest day? Google says it is but I thought it was yesterday.
  11. Forget the loader Matty, you have to constantly move the pressure to manipulate the screw into the weak spots and see what you are doing. Plus you need to look after the nose of the cone so you don’t damage it in dirt or concrete depending where you are working.
  12. Morning, never slept well with the wind blowing. Always makes me feel uneasy.i have no plans to be cutting trees over the festivities so it can just calm down.
  13. Lasco splitter, 2.7 ton digger. It doesn’t break up lengths pretty but will break down stuff you don’t want to put a saw near, like ugly beech with rot and metal. If you not needing a mini digger then look out for a Back hoe, 3cx or similar. Lot more metal for your money. And handy for your place and jobs.
  14. Morning all, we’ve finished for this year. Dog walking and eating it is from now on.
  15. Morning, sorry to read some of you are suffering just now. cold and dry here!
  16. Morning, crazy mild here. I’ve turned the heating off. It was 14 degrees yesterday. I’ve only got tomorrow to work and that me until next year.
  17. We walk at the side of the head, 2 people lengths away incase we trip. Like walking a crocodile on a 4m lead. I’ll average 15k steps a day on open ground, 10k in woodland work and gorse. Gorse I can’t walk beside so initial first run through I’ll walk behind with hammers revolving backwards to thro everything forward. On some jobs I only flail in reverse so I can stand in the 1 position.
  18. Morning! Dry here, strangely mild last night being 10 degrees at 9 pm. Don’t have a plan for today, I’ll just wait for an idea to come into my head and go with that till I’m bored.
  19. Morning guys, no idea about the weather as I’m not working so not fussed 😂off to Inverness for some supplies and to look at a job.
  20. Morning, slept in till 7.42am so had to rush to get out the door to go for physio. A fine bright fresh morning here about 1 degrees.
  21. Happy Birthday Mick, fare play at 60! Gorse job today with the Roboflail. IMG_4919.mov
  22. Morning, temp has dropped again, think it’s dry outside. Find out in 5 mins. Gorse mulching today.
