  1. That is very good mileage for a petrol, few gasoline-engines cars here make that distance. Just proves that servicing is everything. I had a 1991 309 GRDT (1769cc) and a 93 Zest 1905cc naturally aspirated diesel. Very happy memories of them. If your 1.4 is the 1360cc twin cam, that was a fabulous engine!
  2. Now your 309 caught my attention! I've had a few of them and loved them! Is yours diesel or petrol Metsaman?
  3. Moss Killer - DJ Turfcare Might be cheaper on https://www.pitchcare.com/shop/hard-surface-moss-killer/index.html
  4. Tunissen still has the spray pattern of a truckers butt hole tho.
  5. Zekes 6100 was lighter than my ol 036 so that's fine by me; that's progress unlike S&H bulking up with techno add-ons. There's 1% in it I reckon. Dol has phenomenal acceleration no doubt about it. Thinking about it the Dol might not have been sharpened as well as the 620; both were as new on 18s, on echo oil. Where one has a weakness the other has a strength but the balance of the 620 is out of this world. Phil got my old 600 - it's no 6100 but still a dream in the cut. The 620 will pump out saw chips like nobodys business - the clearance is sublime. The echo (kioritz) engine is standard piston-ported; the dolly is a strato. Neither have to be left in the shade to make sure they'll restart on a hot day.
  6. Swap the Tunissen spout for a TP one. You want sniper rifle not shotgun. Saves an hour sweeping the road up afterwards.
  7. Your ticket to retirement, 200' yacht, villa in france, austria and so on I'd have thought. Might only pay you £15 a night to go on it but your fame will be sealed.
  8. VS the Dol 6100, the Echo has the edge; more torque, better handling, stronger built. Sorry Shavey!
  9. Wait for it, there is a certain someone who will enjoy saying it is heavy and doesn't handle well; and we're all sick of it; let's hope this thread stays sawtroll free. 620 is the best 60cc saw on the planet right now, full stop.
  10. Hi, I'm the resident A/T Prophet of doom: Timber contracting is quiet at the moment... just saying. Hopefully it will pick up again.
  11. Horizonal only better than a vertical with no table imo; verticals where the log is cut at ground level = back ache. Of course, big tonnage machines are nearly always horizontal.
  12. Add an Ifor P6/P7 and you've got the best of both worlds for about the same as your budget!
  13. Absolutely bang on the money. 1000% right that.
  14. Was off work with ill health; lots of stuff went for a song. Hey ho! I'll ask him; he's got two just sitting there!
  15. If only you'd put this up a month ago! You missed a bargain; sold my Balfor A11 9hp for £300 - it was immaculate. Riko reckoned it's s/h value was £8-1200 having been £2k new. Not a strategic sale that was it! edit: the guy who bought it has done nothing with it; perhaps he'll sell it to you for a profit?!
  16. More the machinery and stuff than the miserable farmer facts I was on about.
  17. Polo is smarter for sure but impractical; either gets hot and dirty and thus itchy or gets full of larch hairs which again, itch like hell. Wear a tidy zip collar fleece over crew t-shirt to be a bit more presentable.
  18. Takes me to an ee site saying "content blocked". Turning out to be a tough tenner lol!
  19. No not the recipes, the film content. OMTC - that link doesn't work for me; now who do I send the money to!
  20. Great British Food Revival, series 2, episode 7: Beetroot and Currants. Need it bad!
  21. He cracks me up, I'm a miserable sod so jovial people are a tonic. Lol.
  22. Tape planting lettuce wow!
