  1. Slow to warm up is a good thing - not for a man in a hurry, but for a 2-stroke engine. Eludes to high quality cylinder. How many times have I said this now.
  2. Yes i saw it john, symptomatic of throwaway society. Dig for victory i say!
  3. Polar opposite to majority experience; reckon you got a duffer.
  4. Lucky you; £26/t on a good day down here.

  7. Are these coming with rim or spur sprockets? There seems to be a choice when you delve into google images... MOTOSIERRA FORESTAL CS390ESX/38 cm Another plus point imo - this saw has a 2-ring piston...
  8. What I was thinking too. 18 on a 60cc is nicer then a 20.
  9. Would be a far far better situation. Just remove the RFD on the fuel.
  10. Dear Santa...
  11. AFAIK it's due to volume sales. So please please stop buying Echo's and Dolmars! Where's Sawtroll when you need him
  12. Cos it's interesting mate!
  13. Nice little David Brown 1290/1390 2wd, perfect, sips diesel. Or an International 574/674/etc, Ford 4000... Will you run the splitter off the tractor hydraulics or does it have own pto? DB and IH best for oil flow I think...
  14. And so we will... Salute...
  15. The hedgecutters and brushcutters see very little use these days. The saws most days.
  16. Currently: SRM-222ES SRM-300TES (Loop handle) CLS-4600 (discontinued clearing saw) HC-2300 (predecessor to HC-331ES) HC-331ES HCA-2400 (predecessor to HCA-265ES HCR-1500 PB-255 CS-360TES CS-600 (predecessor to 610 and 620) CS-8002 Will definately be buying within 12 months: CS-2510TES CS-620SX (x2) CS-390ESX PB-770
  17. Haha you must be joking. Hate the things, never fallen for the Apple crumble. Now I wonder who's OS Apple copied for the original iPhone?!
  18. Yep, 18" too much for those saws. 16" tops.
  19. "Fool not to have an iPhone"???!!! Brainwashed the lot of ya!
  20. Stormy this morning...
  21. 0-100m3 100-500m3 500-1000m3 1000+ ? would be the way I lump them in parcel sizes. Are you bidding against someone with machinery? Processor birch of the sizes you mention is harvester fodder and no hand cutter can ever compete with that unless in the 0-500m3 zone imo.
  22. The standing birch sounds lovely; but what's the volume in the job? The total volume affects the price...
